Gel Sérum Radiance, Magic and Hold

Product arrived with hole in top of tube. Product comes out intended opening and the hole at top when squeezed making huge mess. Emailed customer service with photos.

It’s a very lightweight gel that melts into a serum when you rub it together in your hands. I use it to create a slicked back bun or pony when I don’t want to use a very strong gel. It doesn’t work as well to slick everything back, but it’s nice that it’s so light and doesn’t make your hair crunchy. Overall I like it but I don’t know if I would buy it again for this price. All of oribes products do smell amazing.

This product was recommended to me by a hairstylist to use with my styling cream (with no hold) when I blowout my 3b curly hair on wash days, which I’ve been doing for the past 10 years. I thought I should really get this as it’s supposed to provide hold to your style while providing nourishment and shine. Unfortunately, this product made my hair less shiny and soft than it usually is. As far as the hold goes, I’d give it a 2 out of 5. Provided some hold, but a can of hair spray that’s half the cost of this, and a drop of oil not only held my style better, but makes my hair shiny and actually nourished. I was prepared to splurge on some other oribe products, but paying a high price for a “luxurious” brand/product that doesn’t even do half its job is just such a waste. Proper hair care is a lot of trial and error, whether you’re just starting, or just wanting to try something new. Sadly enough, this “luxury” brand is shockingly cheap when it comes to how much they put in their samples considering their price range. There are better brands out there that will certainly give you better results with quality ingredients that cost a bit less than $60 per product. Oribe is way overpriced for the underwhelming results.

Wow, I do a roller set and this gel left a nice hold leaving my hair with an incredible bounce and shine.

I bought this for my husband who is growing his hair out . He has beautiful soft curls with is product . Not stiff , sticky or crunchy . He is taking powerful meds that make his hair thin and fragile . This is perfect. We love it !

I absolutely love this styling gel. I wouldn't mind having more gold flakes in it as it really makes my red hair shine. The hold and the styling is fantastic. I honestly can't live without using it.
