Dry Texturizing Spray

I had been hearing of people raving about this product. I had to try it for myself after many different times of putting it in my cart and taking it back out online. Blind purchase. This stuff is legit one of the best hair products out. I love the light hold that through some witchcraft seems to stay all day with a minor touch-up. It smells divine. It gives my fine hair much more volume, so it isn't just limp and lifeless. I also use it when I throw my hair into a messy bun for a natural hold and also to keep stray hairs out of my face, and it works perfectly. The bottle is very large, but for $52, it is definitely a splurge.

This texturizing spray is one of my favorite hair styling products. In addition to texturing, I use it as a finishing spray because it helps to hold hairstyles longer. It also gives me great volume. I apply it to the roots and along the entire length like my hair stylist does.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray - The Best Texturizing Spray! I am absolutely delighted with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray! This product has become a real salvation for my hair. It gives incredible volume and texture, making the styling more durable and spectacular. The spray does not weigh down the hair and does not leave marks, which is especially important for me. It smells amazing, and it does not interrupt the scent of my perfume. My hair looks fresh and well-groomed throughout the day. I also noticed that with this spray my hair stays clean longer, which is a huge plus. Yes, it is not the cheapest, but it is worth every penny spent.

I received this Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray complementary from the brand and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. And honestly, I may be in the minority here, but I wasn’t a fan of this product. First and foremost, I found it incredibly confusing. The brand advertises this spray as a hairspray, a dry shampoo, and a texture spray. So naturally, I tried it for a variety of different hairstyles, and I think the advertising is reaching a bit. I’m all for multipurpose products, but this is not one of them. This spray leaves a weird film on your hair that’s rough to the touch, albeit somewhat mattifying. So while that sounds like it would work as a dry shampoo, it doesn’t. Because the issue is that you need to use so much of it to soak up the oils and it simultaneously makes your hair impossible to comb through (even with your fingers). I wasn’t going for the immovable helmet look, so then I tried this as a texture spray and a hairspray. The issue there is that this spray comes out so quickly and with so much power, it ends up pushing the hair and adding to the frizz and flyaways, while freezing them in place. It’s a messy look and I had to resort to my normal hairspray to fix it. This did initially give me some volume at the crown, but my hair fell flat after a few hours, so it didn’t last like I thought it would. The one area I found success with this spray was using it when putting my hair in a banana clip. My ponytail didn’t budge like it normally does because the hair had some grip to it, so that was nice. But I personally wouldn’t pay the price of this Oribe Spray just for one hairstyle.

First off, every Oribe product smells amazing I love the scent. I think overall this a good product it’s just not one I need. I have a shorter men’s haircut and I have a thick head of both fine and thick hair follicles so it is hard for me to find styling products that can do everything for me. I think the hold is fine but nothing extraordinary. I’m not a fan of the texture/feel it leaves in my hair but also I personally prefer my hair to feel more natural and this makes me feel like there is something in there. If I use this it is to add some more hold after a day or 2 of styling.

I’m really impressed by this texturizing spray! I have fine oily hair and this spray adds lift, absorbs oil, and makes it look as though my hair has more texture. The scent of this spray is also really nice and fresh. While this product is expensive, I would purchase it again!

I’ve been using this multipurpose product for almost a decade. It can do more than simply texturize your hair. I’ve used it as a root lifter and volumizer, dry shampoo and workable styling spray. Works like a charm and is a core product for me.
