Curl Gloss Hydration & Hold

I have to agree with JMAT! I had the same issues. I've been a curly girl and been using curly methods of styling my hair all my life. Being a cosmetologist who is licensed myself, I'm very picky about what I put in my hair. Oribe is incredibly pricey! As a single parent, who is a cosmetologist, it bums me out that there is nowhere for someone who is licensed to purchase your product for professionals that would like to use on their clients. Also, just as JMAT Said below, I saturated my hair when I got out of the shower as I always do prior to putting my product in, after applying a leave-in conditioner. I was only able to afford your shampoo for moisture control and the curl gloss hydration and hold, because of the high price of the product, to which I would not mind spending that type of money on hair product if it made my hair look fabulous! However, and my hair has not turned out not even close to soft non-frizzy, in tight beautiful shiny curls. It looks, dry, and it doesn't even look near as curly as it used to! I just had a reso cut done by my stylist a week ago. Therefore, if I want to blow dry my hair on a Cool setting, it should come out big, and incredibly curly! I just have to say I'm disappointed. I'm not going to give up on you guys. What would be incredibly helpful for me, is that you make a menu or perhaps a small quick quiz on hair types, so that us curly girls know what to purchase from your brand, so that in hopes we end up joyous with the outcome. All my life, the only thing I have ever thanked my higher power for, was my hair. I've always cherished it, I've always taken very good care of it. Unfortunately, I've lost about 40% of my hair, and the years passed due to extreme stress and surgeries and God knows what else. All I want, is to find a product that made me as happy as diva girl did back in the day. But, we all know that Neva curl is not safe to use anymore. I truly hope that you're product is. I believe in you and your company! I will try again. I just hope that I find the right formula for my curls. Because, I truly have to splurge whenever I buy your product.

The only product I’ll use now. I have 3a curls, my hair is blonde and fine and this product is perfect for my hair type. It helps define the curls without being crunchy or heavy, it stays frizz free, and even gives a little bit of shine. I’ve had times where I rarely wore my hair curly, mainly bc it was dry & damaged so my curls were all over the place, but since I’ve been using the Alchemy Fortifying Treatment Serum consistently, and only washing and blow drying my hair once, maybe twice a week, my hair is in much better condition, so naturally, my curls look better. I put the treatment serum in after showering, then put in the curl gloss while my hair is still pretty saturated. If I have time, I’ll let it air dry all the way, or sometimes just a little bit then dry it all the way with the diffuser. I love how my curls end up looking, so much that I’m finally wearing it curly more. I’ve even done my hair at night and slept on it and the next day I’ll just add some of the Mystify Restyling Spray and my curls are perfect. All in all, I think you have to just find the right product for YOUR hair type & condition (so look for reviews that specify that). For thick or coarse hair, the curl cream may be a better product, but I can’t speak to that. But for 3a/b curls, if your hair is more fine, and is healthy, this is a great product and I would highly recommend giving it a try.

I was at the salon and the stylist used the anti humidity spray and I loved it - I ordered the cur gloss hydration along with it. I have 3a/b hair and picked this product based on the description. I feel like I have a system down for curly hair after a lot of trial and error but given Oribe's brand, belief that perhaps one product that is more expensive could substitute for many, went with the styling approach that was written - apply to damp hair and style. It left my curls undefined, frizzy, dull and dry and thats with quite a bit more product than I am used to using. I was really shocked and disappointed.

I have thick hair and volume. Easily frizzy. I have tried a lot of products over the years only to find a few that work for my hair. I used to be a longtime Kerastase Oleo Relax Serum fan until they discontinued it. My hairdresser recommended Oribe and it not only matched my needs but exceeded my expectations. A little goes a long way, hair stays silky smooth, great waves/curls and texture. Highly recommend this product. I just towel dry hair after shampoo/ conditioner in shower, scrunch about a quarter sized amount on my hair and that's all it takes to have my hair naturally wavy and non-frizzy

I am loving this. I have fine hair. When there is humidity it's curly, and can be almost straight when the air is really dry. This product does not leave my hair feeling heavy, stiff or sticky. It just works if I am straightening or enhancing curls. It feels like a good hair gel. It doesn't take a lot to work. It's my new go to no matter what the weather or style I'm trying for. I am finishing with the Oribe Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray. The combo gives me soft controlled hair that last for days in Atlanta weather.

Love. Cannot imagine waking up and not putting this on my hair.

This product is AMAZING! It smells so good and leaves my curls SOFT and springy. It doesn’t leave your hair crunchy if you accidentally use too much either! I’m seriously in love with this whole line! It can be pricey but it lasts so long and you don’t need much at all!

I love this stuff. I love it to pull through my curls and twist them. It helps with shine, frizz, and a better curl pattern. There is no crunch to this gel at all and a little@goes a long way.
