I used this as directed- spraying it and then blow drying. As someone with fine hair, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Maybe I should have used more product or higher heat but I didn’t want to damage my already thin hair. It has a strong salon scent and felt a bit sticky like hair spray. I noticed volume after but wasn’t sure if it was attributed to the spray or to blow drying.

The Oribe line is all around REALLY incredible. The Maximista Thickening spray was perfect for achieving the big beautiful half curly half wavy - not flat anywhere - summer hair. I used this along side the texturizing spray on my own styles and my friend’s fine hair for a wedding this weekend and it totally handled a HOT 90° outdoor Massachusetts wedding with ease. 10/10

I adore oribe products, the smell is always one of a kind. I love that the scent sticks around. I really have loved every single thing that I have ever received from this company. Stellar, top notch hair products! One of the shampoos and conditioners is a forever staple in my bathroom. I always use their products on days I have events. That way I smell good everywhere.
This product is definitely fantastic if you’re washing your hair the same day as an event. The wonderful smell lingers. I am not a huge fan of the way this thickening spray leaves my hair feeling. It feels a little bit dirty. I hate when I have to get my hair super dirty on wash day. However, I do not mind using it to get some serious volume on wash days. My hair is very long and very fine. It tends to get weighed down pretty easily. I like that if the volume starts to go away, you can tossle your hair and get the volume back. Even into the following day.

This did an excellent job adding volume to my hair. The product was easy to use and I was very pleased with the result. The effect lasted a couple of days until I washed my hair again. I felt like the product left residue at the roots, but that seems to be true of all volumizers. I really like the lift it gave my overdue-for-a-trim style and love the scent!

I used this product for the first time today, just applied it on the wet hairs right after shower and blow dry it as usual, tried to give more attention areas near my face, so it will be more voluminous. I can’t say I see big difference in my hair, hairs feels drier than regular… but I am not sure if it’s normal , usually I don’t using voluminous products..

It’s a pretty nice thickening spray. I love it for the front part of my hair that tends to get flat, as well as the top.
The smell is nice, and the packaging issues good for traveling ( the sample) . I don’t know much for the price because i received it as a sample. I would recommend it if you like a nice smelling product that helps lift those flat spots.

Heat Protection and Hold

My fine hair desperately needs a heat protectant, and this protects my hair while helping it hold a curl. I did notice a little bit of added texture and weight to my hair after appllying, but combing through thoroughly helped to reduce this. I'm still learning how to style for volume, but the added hold could definitely help preserve a bouncey blowout.

It smells fantastic, gives great volume, but it can be a little sticky and it's definitely expensive. I have yet to find an alternative that even comes close to producing the added volume that I get when I use this product. I like the spray better than the cream because it's lighter on your hair. #influenster #voxbox #review #gift #oribe #hair #beauty

So my daughter is a hair dresser and I had her come over and help me out with this one. We had a family gathering and I wanted my thin oily hair to look nice. It held up really great. My hair looked full and it gave it a nice thick hair. It has a nice smell. I like the shine, but it makes me think my hair is looking oily. But I really like it.

This is a heat protecting styling spray. It's good to know its cruelty free as well. It does not weigh down thin hair. This does make your hair appear thick. How to use: separate hair into sections, spray each section as you blow dry, your hair will be thick. You can easily go 3 days without hair washing and it will still look thick and fresh.

I enjoyed this volumizer spray. I don't usually use volumizing products, but it was easy to apply and had that professional hair salon smell. It acted as a heat protectant/coating when using a curling or flat iron. I do feel it weighed my hair down a bit day 2 and 3. A little goes a long way, so you can try the mini size for a cheaper price.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I like how shiny and voluminous my hair looks after using this spray. It holds my style nicely for awhile. I thoroughly enjoyed the after results. Though, I already had thick hair, so I can't say how it is for other hair types. I didn't notice a huge difference on my behalf.

This definitely adds texture if you have thinner hair- the scent is a little strong at first but dissipates. I feel like it does leave my hair a little “crunchy” but I think that can be good for adding texture overall- if you don’t like that feeling, maybe don’t get this product. I received a travel size of this in exchange for my review

I love these products, they leave the hair feeling so good without compromising the hairs softness and only adds volume: it also leaves the hair smelling amazing. This product has a small cap sprayer on top so you don't end up with too much product and it's easy to control how much or how little, it also helps hold the hair pretty well.

This is a well known brand and it holds up to its well known reputation. This product gives my hair volume and thickness, separation and hold. This product is light weight I my hair and doesn’t leave it feeling dirty. It smells wonderful also leaving my hair feeling refreshed.

This is a fantastic styling spray, spray on damp hair and style as usual. It adds volume that stays and also offers heat protection. It has the fabulous signature Oribe scent that I love. The packaging is practical and attractive and while it’s a bit of a splurge it is totally worth it as you will be so happy pleased with your hair!

I received this product free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This does spray a little heavy. It will leave your hair feeling a little more wet. It does help give some volume to the hair; however, I wish it sprayed more like a mist so that I could get in there better. I feel like it makes your hair quite damp.

This thickening spray works pretty good. I’ve been applying it at night after the shower. Right away I could feel my hair kind of feeling a bit stiff/thickening. After a minute or two it goes away. My hair starts to look like it has some volume. The scent at first can be a little strong. You can definitely notice my waves more.

I blow my hair out regularly and this product has really upped my blow-out game. I have very thick hair to begin with so I was skeptical of this product but it really gave my hair a lift at the roots and added a lot of shine. I have recommended it to several of friends with thinner hair and they are all planning to purchase it!

This spray is meant to be used on damp hair before you blow dry and style. It has a pleasant, light scent. I find it easier to spray on my hands and then evenly distribute through my hair as opposed to directly spraying it on my hair. It did help add a little volume after blow drying, but not enough for a visible change.

Oribe is known for high-end products that make your hair look and smell divine and this one was no exception. Years of dying my hair, plus middle-age, have made my hair limp and lackluster. Oribe's Maximista Thickening spray makes my hair look thicker like it used to. It smells great and provides thermal protection, too.

I love this bodybuilding spray because it leaves me with a super exaggeratedly visible volume, you can really see and notice the volume and thickness while providing long-lasting thermal and UV protection, I have everything I need in this spray. It's super good and very effective, good texture, scent , value for money.

I’ve been using this since before I got to try it from Influenster for a reason! If you have fine hair, towel dry it and spray a liberal amount into your hair. Follow up with a blow dry for best results. It’s pricey, but I’ll buy this for years to come that’s how good it is! Scent is high end, too. Smells like salon.

I love it, it's good spray to protect from the heat before you blow dry it . It gives you shine , softness and volume.
Spray on damp hair section by section, from roots to ends. Blow dry to the highest volume.

Just like it’s counterparts this product has a really good fragrance as well. I have naturally thin hair and always struggle to get volume in my hair. Most volumizing products I use give me some initial volume, but don’t last throughout the day. This product actually lasted longer than others I use so I was happy.

I love all the Oribe products in general but this one is my favorite.
I have thin hair and this spray doesn’t way it down. It actualy makes me feel like I have a full head of hair. Lightweight even bouncy, full hair.
No stickiness which is a huge plus. Great scent, works great on my hair

Oribe maximista thickening spray works. After applying and blow drying, the product makes my hair feel and look very thick. However, it also leaves my hair feeling rough which I do not like. Because of the thickness ,of course, it also makes my hair look voluminous. There is a faint Oribe scent afterwards.

Super expensive but it does work well on my fine hair. I have the travel size and for this package, it does spray well so I'm not getting product all over my face. It makes my hair big, shiny and bouncy but it does only last for 2 days (ie it doesn't extend wash days for me). Overall I do like the results.
