This thickening spray is amazing! I applied to the roots while my hair was wet/damp, let air dry most of the way, then used a blow drier for the last bit. I have super flat straight hair that gets oily quick, and this spray gave me great volume for days. My hair also didn’t get oily as fast which was a nice plus. It does leave a residue on your hair which you can feel, but it didn’t bother me and I think most texturizing sprays do this. Absolutely recommend for volume!

This product is great! I have trouble with my hair being really flat after I shower. I very straight, slick Asian hair and it loses volume after I wash it. You’re supposed to apply this to your hair straight which I didn’t realize initially so I just put water on my hands and ran it through my hair and it worked well but I will definitely try it with real damp hair. Another plus is this product smells AMAZING. Probably one of my favorite smelling hair products I have.

I have fine hair that is typically flat at the roots. I applied this spray as directed on wet hair and blow dry. It initially feels sticky in my hair and makes it a little difficult to detangle. However the sticky feeling eventually goes away. It also provides me with some volume, but nothing crazy. I do love the scent though. It is subtle and I find myself catching whiffs of it throughout the day. It is a fresh fruity and floral smell that makes me feel so clean.

This thickening spray works pretty well. The product is easy to apply and each application doesn’t use much product. My hair feels like it gets greasier quicker, but unlike my normal greasy hair, which doesn’t hold hairstyles such as ponytails well, this spray allows my hair to to hold ponytails for much longer. The scent is not too overpowering and the packaging is easy to open. I didn’t notice any moisturizing effects, though, which was disappointing.

You *have* to try Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray if you want your hair to look super full and thick! I use it every time I blow-dry, and it makes such a difference—it gives my hair so much volume without making it feel heavy or weird. It smells good! I was worried it might be too overpowering with an alcohol smell, but I found it pretty pleasant. I’m not sure if it’s because I have such long hair (hair to the small of my back), but I have to put in a lot of product for my hair to have extra volume. I can tell it did add volume to my hair. However, just like basically every hairspray, my hair does feel a little heavy with product and I’m not a fan of feeling product when I run my fingers through my hair. My hair felt soft on touch, though, which is nice. I’ve only used it a few times (it requires some effort to use when I’m in a rush in the morning!), but seems great for styling hair when you want to put in a little extra effort. For everyday use, I’d stay away. However, for when I blow-dry my hair — it’s perfect. I just feel like air-drying my hair some days!

I received the product complimentary for my honest review.
I was not blown away by this product. It smells like hairspray and since alcohol is the first ingredient on the list it was fairly drying, which I understand they want for decreasing blow drying time. I received a bit of extra volume from blow drying, but not sure I felt a major increase in thickening feel and the volume didn’t last all day long. All in all not a bad product but not a favorite.

I received this product from Influenster to try out and write a review. The packaging is nice and aesthetically pleasing. The product also smells nice. I didn’t feel like it helped with volume and also didn’t like how this made my hair feel like straw as well. I tried this product on its own to make sure it wasn’t another product making my hair feel that way. I’m not a fan of this and don’t feel like it really helped and just made my hair feel gross.

I received Oribe’s Maximista Thickening Spray for free from Influenster and Oribe in exchange for my honest review. This spray has provided such amazing fullness and volume to my hair. My hair looks and feels thicker with just a few spritz. The spray holds the lift very well with my hair texture (3b-3c), and offers great heat protection and shine. It smells amazing, and it is the perfect size to pack and take along anywhere I go. Absolutely love it!

I am on the fence with this one. Love the packaging and the smell! I know I’m getting a good product with Oribe. I do think it’s good at being a heat protectant and helping with frizz and shine but as far as giving volume I’m not sure I noticed a big difference. It definitely didn’t give me less volume or make my already oily hair any more oily so that’s a plus. I don’t love it and I don’t hate it. I’m not sure I would repurchase this one.

I really liked the results I saw when using this product. It increased the volume in my hair and I felt that it gave my hair a nice bouncy texture after drying. That said, I feel like “thickening spray” isn’t the best name for it. It didn’t make my hair look any thicker at all BUT I preferred the added volume anyway. The lid cracked on my travel size bottle immediately when opening for the first time but thankfully that doesn’t impact it.

This was my first time ever trying a thickening spray, and as someone with very straight hair I didn't know what to expect. This smells good not too strong. It's recommended to use this in damp hair and blow dry and I have to agree because it felt a bit like hair spray imo. I noticed some volume but not to enough to gravitate to use this all the time. I would say this would be perfect for people with very thin hair which I do not have.

I bought this Oribe product in a whim due to such high star ratings. I was blown away with the results after just one time. I curl my hair every day and not my curls actually stay through out the day and into the next. I can delay my washes because my hair looks so good. I do not find that his product
weights my hair down but I avoid my roots and apply minimally. This will product will forever be apart of my hair routine.

I LOVE Oribe, but this was just so so for me. It smells nice, but my hair is fine and thin, and I don’t feel like it add much “fullness” when styled. It was too weak to be a hair spray, maybe kind of like a texturizing, but even still, it didn’t do much. I like the scent (though I wish it was more similar to most of Oribe’s other products). Again, it’s not bad, just not amazing. I’d like a little more “thickening” from it.

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!! I love this stuff so much it’s one of my favorite products ever!! I was about to go out and my hair was a little greasy and I didn’t have time to wash my hair especially because I had extensions in and they take forever to dry. I used their thickener and hairspray and my hair looks phenomenal. I got so many compliments. I’ll love it forever! Left hair so shiny and voluminous.

This Maximista thickening spray from Oribe really helps give my hair volume and body. My hair is very straight and flat so it’s lacks any kind of volume what so ever. After using this spray while my hair is damp and then blow drying, my hair looks so much better. It looks thicker and fuller. I wish I would have found this product sooner. It’s that good. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product for flat hair.

I love oribe. Really I do. I don't love the way this spray makes my hair feel though. Maybe it's the thickening aspect but it just felt overloaded with product and did not change the appearance of my hair at all. No added volume or texture. I blow dried my hair, followed the instructions, and it was flat. It felt terrible.
Maybe it just didn't work for my hair texture. I personally wouldn't recommend this product.

I absolutely love this thickening spray. I applied it to my roots, and my hair was damp and then used a round brush to blow out and the results were crazy. My hair is extremely thin due to postpartum hair loss so I loved how it gave me so much volume and hold throughout the day really really liked this product. Can’t wait to try more from this brand. The packaging is absolutely beautiful and it smells wonderful.!

ORIBE Maximista Thickening Spray can keep your hair clean for a few days, give it volume , texture and fix your hairstyle well.
I used the product on wet hair under the hair dryer, after drying it becomes dense, shiny and thick. The spray has a pleasant aroma, is well and evenly sprayed and has heat-resistant protection against a hair dryer or iron. Very economical consumption, so the price is quite justified!

Exactly what I was hoping for

I have thin, fine, straight hair. It's healthy and shiny, because I use are Oribe, but getting enough body has been a challenge. Maximista addresses that very well. Other after-wash products I've used made my hair dryer and a little too stiff to easily style, so the first time I tried Maximista, I used just a couple of quick spritzes. That wasn't enough to make much difference, so I used more the next time, but still didn't go overboard. And I got exactly what I was hoping for. More body and volume, still easy to style, and my hair looked good for 2 more days before I shampooed it again. Very happy!

I really wanted to give this spray 5 star review as I love most of Oribe products but this is just not for my fine straight hair. It left my hair sticky which made blow drying it super uncomfortable and stressful on my hair as the brush would not glide. It pulled on the hair instead. And, in the end, I didn't see any change in the volume and got knots in my hair as well. Thumbs down for this product.

This product is from the Oribe brand. It is a mist that is applied to damp hair and is applied from the roots to the tips, section by section. Then, it is dried with a hairdryer until the desired volume is obtained. This product has a very good smell and your hair smells very good when you apply it. To set your hairstyle, it is recommended to put a mist on your hair. I recommend it.

This thickening product from Oribe is amazing! Smells expensive. Works like a dream! No residue, extremely lightweight, applies in spray form. It’s not inexpensive but a full size bottle could easily last 6 months if you don’t wash and style everyday. Makes my fine, limp tresses so fluffy and full. Heat styling is also improved with the addition of this product. Love this stuff!

First I love the smell secondly this stuff really works! I have been through my share of thickening sprays and lotions and nothing has ever worked like this spray! The packaging was pretty the bottles are small but you get what you pay for so the trio would run you about $75 but I rather spend that money and get results than to keep spending money with no or failed results.
