This Thickening Spray is also a nice product for giving my hair that thicker and fuller look. The spray is slightly sticky, but when I fully apply it on my dampened hair after washing, making sure that the spray is evenly distributed from the roots outwards, my hair is no longer feeling sticky after I blow dried it. The spray really adds nice texture to the hair and makes it looks smoother, fuller and nice. The spay is easy to use and smells refreshing. I’ve gradually fallen in love with ORIBE Hair products thanks to Influenster. One of my favorite Voxboxes was Oribes Dry Texturizing Spray. I’ve always had fine hair that lacked body and volume and this Maxismista spray creates body, volume and makes my hair feel thicker as well. Not only does it give me unbelievable volume but it provides heat protection, as well as thermal and UV protection. A lot of products that claim add body and volume to thin hair usually just end up weighing my hair down, but not this. Im big on ingredients as far as what I put on my body and skin, and this product is Infused with argan, avocado, and rosehip fruit oils, to nourish and soften my hair without making it look greasy. Definitely will purchase !

Wowww— Oribe all the way! I’ve really loved Oribe, ever since I was in my late teens, but I just received Oribe’s Maximista volumizing spray, complimentary from Influenster yesterday and all I can say is WOW! I have pretty thick, long-is hair, and somehow this spray makes it feel so light and airy after using it! It also gives just the perfect amount of volume, without drying out my hair— and it smells AMAZING, like all Oribe’s signature-scented products. It’s non-sticky and is a heat protectant as well! This product cut down my blow-dry time in half, basically! Before I blow-dried with my Dyson supersonic and Olivia Garden 64 round brush, I used the Oribe Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner— which that too, was so amazing and made my hair silky soft. Afterwards I put my hair in a microfiber hair towel and waited an hour before blowdrying. Then, I brushed out with my Wet Brush Pro prior to round brushing. Full on blowdries are never all that fun to do, but mannnn— Maximista spray made it SO MUCH MORE FUN! Also, I used the Oribe Apres Wave Beach Spray that I already purchased long prior, to finish my look! Gosh, I just love Oribe products. I have tried other thickening sprays and drugstore brands but the results have always been disappointing. I was excited to receive this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review; I have tried other Oribe products, including the texturizing spray and always been a fan. I have long, thick curly hair that tends to weigh my hair down leaving my scalp looking flat. This spray gives my hair the much needed volume without making it crunchy or feeling dry. My hair stays soft and volumized which is hard to find in a hair product. Not to forget the smell is great which is an added bonus. I would highly recommend getting it.

Oribe thickening spray is easy to use and does deliver results. After using my hair had a fuller look without being sticky/tacky or crunchy. I did feel that my hair ended up looking dry and I ended up doing an updo. My hair did look nice and full while it was up and held well throughout the day. The scent is not too strong, it’s hard to describe but very much a generic higher end hair spray smell. While I will happily use the bottle up I feel I can get similar results with a product that is less costly.

I received this item for free from Oribe and Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. Hair profile: super fine, stick straight, long, and gets oily easily/quickly I actually am surprised at how much I liked this. I usually prefer gel/cream type blowout products, but I think once I get the hang of spraying and how much to spray this could easily replace what I already have. As with most products, my hair feels weird after using it, but the effect hasn’t gone away, even hours after use, which is great! My hair also hasn’t started to feel greasy yet, which can be a problem with the gel/cream blowout products.

I received a travel size Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray from Influenster, to try the product and provide my honest opinion. This product adds great thickness to my fine hair, adding thickness to the strands, which results in added volume. The product is easy to spray on, then I work it through my hair with my fingers. I like the light, fresh scent of this product, which is not too heavy. I like that I do not need to use much of the product, to get a nice, volumizing effect.

I want to absolutely love this product but I just can't. Best scent of all time and it does the job at thickening and volumizing BUT because of the alcohol in it, it leaves my ends dry and frizzy. I had no idea it had alcohol as an ingredient when I bought it. I assumed that a high end product like this just wouldn't have alcohol but I was wrong. I'm so sad I can't use this product as much as I'd like to. I try to apply it to just the roots and not the ends in order to finish the bottle but that's not really satisfying me. I wish I had tried a sample size before buying the big expensive bottle. It smells so good, why can't Oribe make and sell this fragrance?!

This thickening spray is amazing! I have not tried this as a heat protectant spray, I’ve only used this as a hairspray for my curls. I can’t attest to whether this protects as a heat protectant spray, or whether this thickens hair. I’ve worn my hair curly and I already have thick hair! I will say this clumped my curls beautifully!!! The smell is amazing, I got compliments every-time I’ve used this spray. I plan on using this as a heat protectant spray in the future. I think this would be amazing for curly girls who wear their hair in a ponytail or wants their curls to clump! It kept definition in my curls when paired with a gel and leave in. I highly recommend trying this!!!!!

As a preface- I have very long, fine hair and a lot of it. It’s naturally straight and does not hold a curl well OR have much volume so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I used this spray on dry hair at the roots and quickly went over it with a round brush. Then I used hot curlers on my whole head. When I took them out, WOW I looked like I had a salon blowout! I even got a few compliments from friends. It flattened out after about an hour but still retained some nice body. I didn’t realize you’re supposed to use this on wet hair. Whoops. So maybe that makes a difference. Either way, I’m excited to try it again!

I struggle styling my hair a lot of the time because it is super fine and resistant to curls etc. So I was a little skeptical that this product would be able to do what it claims to do. I was wrong. After spraying this in my damp hair from root to tips and blow drying, my hair is given an instant pop in volume. It does leave your hair with a little bit of texture, so I would note that it is a bit less glossy but my hair is so much easier to style. Plus, it makes it last a couple days before I need a wash again, kind of like having a blow out at home. Finally, smell is great, just like coming from the salon.

I absolutely love this product! You spray it on damp hair, then blow dry to style. Spraying it on my hair did not leave my hair feeling heavy or sticky, and did not increase the drying time. I used a round blow dry brush and ended up with amazing results! I have fine, frizzy hair, so I usually have to style with a straightener or curling iron after blow drying but, honestly, I could just leave it as is. My hair has extra volume, but is also smooth and straight. I’m looking forward to using it again and adding curls to see just how much volume I can get!
