Bright Blonde Shampoo for Beautiful Color

I was excited to try this shampoo. Beautiful packaging, I love the bottle it came in. Don’t let the dark purple color intimidate you! It has a nice, light, fresh scent. It did not lather up that great for me, but a little goes a long way with the shampoo - you don’t need to use a lot. I thought it brightened up my hair after one wash.

I cannot believe how different my blonde strands look and have been restored by this shampoo and conditioner duo. It leaves my hair, silky, smooth and manageable not to mention, smells luxurious. Oribe makes the best products and I will shout them on the mountain top to anyone I can. 

This purple shampoo smells nice lathered up nicely I did before and after pictures also and I see a difference after using it I do have frizzy hair I don’t think it did much for that but not really what it’s intended for overall I did like the product

The packaging is nice and feels very elegant. I used this shampoo on day 4 hair and had a bit of an issue getting a good lather initially, but once I did, it worked into my hair well. After rinsing it out, my hair felt almost like it does after a clarifying shampoo, so I felt like it did a great job of cleaning my hair and washing off any residual products in one go. The consistency seemed a bit runnier than most shampoos that I’ve tried, but it didn’t lack in quality, just different than I’m used to. The consistency actually made me think I was using a lot of product but when I checked the bottle, I had hardly made a dent! While trying this product out I stopped using all other hair products to get an idea of how it works on its own. I noticed some small improvements after the first few washes but by wash 4, I noticed that the color of my hair improved, even my hair stylist commented on how less faded/yellowed my hair looked! I’d say for the level of cleanliness and the effect it had on my hair, this shampoo is definitely worth every penny.

As a licensed professional I’ve tried so many different brands of this type of blonde tone correcting products so I will keep this review simple with the pros and cons. Pros: Nice scent Brightens perfectly hair colored blonde tones A little goes a long way when used in between your regular shampoo and conditioning routine therefore this bottle will last at least a few months depending on usage. Cons: Does not tone, correct nor eliminate brass and yellow tones Does not lather well Non moisturizing and drying Expensive compared to other brands In conclusion this product line is great to brighten a perfectly hair colored blonde application however this product is ineffective to correct and eliminate brassy and yellow tones. This product is also way too expensive compared to other products on the market that are both more cost effective and effective at actually correcting unwanted brass and yellow tone issues. I do not recommend this product.

I absolutely love this shampoo I love the way it smells and most importantly how my hair feels after. It leaves my hair soft but not greasy. You need to be sure to emulsify the shampoo in your hands before applying to hair

This shampoo definitely brightened my blonde and smelled good. The packaging was beautiful! Will definitely use again when I feel like I need a brighten.

This shampoo has a very light and clean smell which I like. This also does not make my head itchy like other purple shampooes do. I didn't notice much of a difference after using this. A couple times but I will continue to use it to see if I see a difference. I do notice that my hair feels a little funny after using this shampoo. But once I use the conditioner it is nice and soft. With other purple shampooes, I notice that it can dye my scalp because Yes, I have blonde and Gray on top of my head. So I use it to brighten and it does get on my scalp. This purple shampoo does not dye my scalp which is a plus. I'm not sure I would purchase this myself.

Totally loving the Oribe Bright Blonde Essentials Set! The packaging is sooo pretty—definitely adds a luxe touch to my shower. The texture is rich and creamy, and the scent? Obsessed. It smells like a high-end beach vacation. My hair looks brighter and healthier, like I just left a Malibu salon. Took off one star just ’cause it’s a bit pricey, but honestly, it’s worth the splurge if you want that golden hour glow all day.

This shampoo did lighten my hair after a few washes. However, I think it would work better for thicker or drier hair types. It seemed to remove some brassy tones from my naturally diirty blonde hair. Using both the shampoo and conditioner did make my very thin hair hard to style and not provide any volume. When I used just the shampoo and a different conditioner, the result was better. It did not have much of a scent at all, so it could be good for those that like little to no scent in their products.

First time trying this brand I only have use very basic and cheap purple shampoo but this is amazing! I love the packaging and how smooth is my hair after I wash it. I feel most of the purple shampoos are very harsh with my hair feeling but this shampoo left my hair and highlights feeling and looking very good! I even got compliments in my highlights. It’s very overprice in my opinion but the quality is amazing it’s worth the hype and it will leave your hair feeling like you just went to the hair salon

First of all, I’m obsessed with Oribe! I used the Gold Lust mask and it’s done amazing things for my hair. As far as purple shampoo in general, they’re usually very touchy for me. My hair is quite porous and often turns a weird grayish color but never does much else. This was perfect! It did not leave my hair gray, purple, or any other color than what it should be- blonde. It brightened tremendously!! Anyone who doesn’t notice brightening in their blonde hair after using this either doesn’t need it or needs to lighten more as they likely have too much yellow or even orange hair tones. This is my new go to!! Thank you!!

Oribe Bright Blonde Shampoo has a delightful scent without that overwhelming perfume fragrance. I have naturally greying hair, which I am embracing. Even though this is a higher quality, pricier purple shampoo, I expected my hair to feel dry and rough. The thicker consistency with a gentle lather cleanses/brightens my hair while leaving it looking sleek, shiny, and healthy, feeling so very soft - even the Grey's! - and smooth. I recommend it! Grey hair, blonde, dry, brassy, wirey, and brittle!

This product works well. I was skeptical at first as this shampoo didn’t act like other purple shampoo usually I have purple all over the shower and my hands after using other products, but that did not happen with this one! I used this product a few days in a row and my hair did not look yellow or purple, it looks like wonderful blonde. I’m so happy how my hair looks! This smells good too. The only thing I did not like that the shampoo bottle is completely a different shape than the conditioner.

I’m really impressed with this shampoo! I have tried many different brands of purple shampoo and this one has done the best job at brightening and eliminating brassiness. I used the shampoo together with the Oribe bright blonde conditioner. After the first use I already saw a slight improvement in color, and a noticeable difference after the third wash. It is slightly drying but significantly less than other purple shampoos I’ve tried. It also smells amazing and the bottles are beautiful!

I got this product for free in exchange for my honest review. First of all I want to say I am not a fan of purple shampoos in general. I have bleached blonde hair and always had troubles with purple shampoos. Sometimes they made my hair really purple, sometimes they dried it out so much. So I was very skeptical at the beginning but I really like this one! After using this shampoo my hair didn’t feel dry but I definitely recommend using it along with the conditioner from this line. I really love how the color of my hair now looks more ash now! I will use it once a week, not every day. The scent is amazing too!

Oribe Bright Blonde Shampoo is simply wonderful. My blonde was refreshed after just one wash. It helped with any of the yellow that was peeking through my hair. I like that it made my hair feel healthy and bright. I was able to try Oribe for my review. I’m glad I did. They use high quality ingredients. Also love that they are dermatologist tested. Go try Oribe out. Not only is the packaging stunning it can be recycled.

I received this product free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The bottle caught my eye right away and I love the design of it. The shampoo is dark purple but did not stain my hands like other purple shampoos. It says it is safe for daily use and I do wash my hair daily but I did tend to switch it up just to avoid the possibility of drying my hair out. The shampoo does not have much lather at all but I also didn’t need too much product. It did smell a little more chemical like than the conditioner but it wasn’t off putting at all. My hair felt clean after using and I do notice my blonde less brassy looking, although I need to use it a bit longer to see more results.

I really loved this shampoo. It brought my blonde hair back to life. My highlights were so much more vibrant. Some purple shampoos can be too harsh for me, but this was very gentle on my hair. The consistency is thick and rich, so a little goes a long way. It lathers extremely well. The scent is absolutely lovely and long-lasting. I had several compliments on the way my hair smelled. After 2 weeks of trying this product was received from Influenster. Smells Heavenly, Imbues Violetly. Love this! Hair doesn’t feel as dry as with other brands. Makes my hair a pearly blonde and NOT SILVER. This product gave my blonde hair a fabulous shine. People complimented me on my color regularly. My hair was clean and easy to style. This to be a product that moisturizes hair. I buy it regularly.

First, how beautiful is this packaging?! Feels so fancy, and like a high end product. The most I love about it is that it tones out unwanted yellow tones in your hair without turning your hair purple or silver, and also without leaving your hair feeling dried out and brittle like other purple shampoo brands! This is hands down the best purple shampoo ever!

It does work by removing the yellow tones but I would have liked it to have a fragrance but I do recommend it because it meets its objective.

First off, I love the simplicity of the packaging and bottle. It’s simple yet elegant. The product itself is phenomenal! My hair gets super brassy, super quick, however, this shampoo has really brightened my hair (even better than my previous purple shampoo) and has kept the brass color out which has saved me from having to go to the salon for now. It doesn’t have a fragrance, which I was surprised by, but completely okay with. I do feel that I have to use more shampoo than I normally do because it doesn’t lather really well, but it does leave my hair looking and feeling clean. I also like that I can use it daily without mixing it with other shampoos. Overall I love it and it’s definitely a keeper!

This seems like really good quality shampoo. It’s very moisturizing for my hair especially with the conditioner. I wouldnt use this shampoo alone though, i would use a regular shampoo first and use this afterward. I don’t think its for cleaning dirty hair. But for toning blonde it is nice to be able to put it on top of head.

The shampoo provides a good lather, rinses well, gets my scalp clean, and leaves my hair lingering with its luxurious scent. Upon air drying, my hair did not turn out dry or frizzy, instead, my highlights appeared shiny and healthy. I like this shampoo. It does deposit the purple pigment well enough to see a difference of the brasiness. It smell pretty good too. Like all purple shampoo though, it does kind of make my hair a bit more dry. But the conditioner that comes with helps a lot. I'd recommend my fellow blondes to try this!
