I wanted to wait a little before leaving a review for Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo .
I tried the shampoo a few times and the first time I instantly was surprised. Not only is the packaging and presentation beautiful, but most importantly the quality is amazing. It has good ingredients, it smells so good and it left my hair super soft. You only have to use a little bit of the shampoo, because a little goes a long way and so although Oribe can be on the higher end of pricing, it will last you a while and it’s worth every penny!
This Shampoo is something I’ve been looking for because my hair is dry and coarse, I’ve been feeling the difference and I can tell it’s getting softer, stronger and more shiny. I look forward to trying more of Oribe! Thank you to Oribe and Influenster for this gift.

I have been using Oribe Gold Lust Repairing and Restore shampoo twice a week for the past 3 weeks and I love it.I love the neutral scent it has and my hair feels ok.I have thick hair and didn't need to use more than a quarter coin size for my whole head I love being able to let my hair air dry and it still feels so smooth. I had high expectations for a shampoo this expensive and they were met well. I am very happy with the final results after use. I will definitely recommend it.

Helps with shine, but not moisture

I received this product complementary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I have thick wavy hair. Although I did like the smell and weightlessness the product offered, I didn't feel it helped moisturize as well as similar products. I also felt it took more of the product to lather as well for thicker hair. I made sure I used the product over several washes to ensure a fair review. Due to the price point, I would not purchase in the future with these same results.

I killed my hair bleaching it and using heat and this shampoo and conditioner set has made my hair feel 100x’s better, it’s soft and smooth and smells great it’s feel moisturized even after the first day or two.It is a bit pricey but to me it’s worth it. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and my hair has made such a change I’ve even ordered some of the other products in the Oribe Gold luster line I think it may be one of my best hair care purchases yet!

This ORIBE Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo & Conditioner are wonderful. My hair feels so moisturized & I feel like it brings the life back into my hair. Not to mention the smell, I get fresh citrusy scent which lingers all day. And the fact that it always protects hair from damage is like the Cherry on top! I always thought the price of their hair care was kind of high. But now after trying it, I see why. Definitely will look into buying a full size!

I have been a very big fan of Oribe for a long time. The goldlust line has been something i have wanted to try forever. When I got sent this Voxbox I was so excited. Coming from someone that has 2b hair, its really hard to find products that dont make my hair extremely frizzy or extremely oily. When opening up the box I was so shocked about how beautiful it was. The shampoo bottle is very fun but what I love is the conditioner bottle. its a squeeze bottle so it makes it easier to get it all out. Both products were smooth and almost slimy. When people say you dont need much product, I would absolutely agree. It took less than two squeezes of shampoo to cover my roots and it washed out so well. same with the conditioner. When my hair fully dried, it was so smooth. There was no breakage and stayed completely shiny until the next wash

I received this product complimentary from Influenster and Oribe in exchange for a review. When I found out I was receiving these products I was very excited. I’ve heard a lot of hype around the products! The packaging is gorgeous. As for the shampoo, the scent is lovely. The lather is more than I was expecting. As someone with a finer strand I’m always worried about products being way too heavy. This still felt super light after rinsing even though the product feels super creamy and luxurious. I definitely enjoyed using it. I’m unsure if I will continue use mainly because of the price point, but if you can swing a little extra splurge and treat yourself it’s totally worth it!

The Gold Lust set from Oribe has been amazing! I can definitely tell that my hair looks healthier, seems to have less damage and the shine is absolutely beautiful! I don’t seem to have as many split ends and it seems to have added some moisture to it too!

Right off the bat the packaging of this shampoo is luxury and worthy of the price. I have thick hair and usually have to use a lot of product to get there lather going. I didn’t need to use as much as I thought I would. The scent is light and not overwhelming at all. My hair was glossy and smooth without even blow drying. I even slept on it wet the first time and it sleep looked beautiful the next morning. Definitely worthy of the price tag!

The Gold Lust Repair and Restore Shampoo smells amazing! The silky texture lathers easily. It left my hair feeling very soft and thoroughly cleansed. I used a quarter sized amount on my long thick hair.
The product really does work and I can see a huge difference between Oribe and drug store brands, heck even against Sephora‘s brands.
I will continue to invest in Oribe and if it’s within your means, you totally should invest in Oribe too

I decided to take better care of my “do-it-yourself“ highlighted, dyed, relaxed (2x a year), blow dried/curled hair. I looked for great reviews and found Oribe products! Only 1 use restored my 2c/3a thick wavy hair. Now, even my split ends are smooth and soft, as well. The scent is wonderful, too! I was a bit worried using such an expensive shampoo, but I 100% believe that you get what you pay for with this product. The minute I put some into my hand, I was in awe by how it looked like literal liquid gold. It amps up my shower and feels so luxurious. I noticed that it helped with tangles in my hair and left my hair so silky and smooth. If you’re gonna spend money on products, make it worth it with this shampoo!

Rich creamy lather

I really like this shampoo, it gives such a rich creamy lather, makes my hair nice and squeaky clean. I saw that it’s supposed to have their signature scent but to be honest I cannot smell anything which isn’t a bad thing but also it doesn’t say fragrance free so I must be nose blind to this scent. Overall I am very satisfied with this shampoo. I have the travel size but it will last me awhile because it’s very rich.

So I got this in a Voxbox and I was pretty excited about it especially considering the original price point for the shampoo and conditioner. Well the packaging is very luxurious but the actual product was kindof a let down for me. I take pretty good care of my hair as is, and use salon brand products and this was on that level/maybe a little below. It just smelled clean, no strong smell or perfume which I liked and it left me feeling clean but pretty dry. For the price point I can't justify buying this over salon products that do the same if not a better job at a better price point. save your coins!

I was really impressed. The smell of this is not as good as the conditioners. The price of this shampoo and conditioner is a little pricey which bites because I really do like how it left my hair looking and feeling.

not what I was expected

I received this product for free but all opinion is mine based on my experience. I used this shampoo for the past two weeks. I’m very happy when I received these products but at the end I don’t like a lot. The product is not bad, but for the price I was expected more.
My experience I have wavy hair, dye color hair (red) and a little bit damage. I use a quarter size ama out of the product for my hair (mid-back length) they clean great my scalp and I enjoy how my scalp feel with this product. But I noticed they remove a lot of my red hair color. When I remove the product my hair feel hard and dry.

I love Oribe products. This product hasn't failed to live up to my expectations. It has that familiar Oribe smell - very clean and pleasant. It moisturizes my hair like no other product I've tried without leaving a bunch of residue in my hair. As a curly girl, it's hard to find products that really hydrate my hair. This is what I use! It's the best I've found for hydrating and long lasting smell.

I was beyond excited that I was able to try Oribe products! The bottles and branding looks so luxurious so I had high hopes that I would love the products. The shampoo has a nice light scent which makes it a great option for anyone with scent sensitivities. For reference I have mid to lower back straight platinum fine hair and I don’t wash my hair daily, I use dry shampoo in between, as needed. Initially using the shampoo seemed great, it lathered nicely at first but when I started getting into the washing I noticed that areas that had (Oribe) dry shampoo in it, the shampoo wouldn’t lather. It was like hitting a dry patch. I rinsed and repeated thinking maybe it was build up but the exact same thing happened so I had to wash a third time with my normal shampoo. That isn’t something I’ve experienced before with shampoos. Over all I was pretty disappointed in the lack of cleansing it did to my hair.

I was very excited to try this out! It smells amazing, like perfume. It has a nice leather as well and a little goes a long way which helps with the price. I love the way the bottle looks too. It cleanses very well and was especially effective at getting rid of days of dry shampoo build up. However, it didn’t make my hair less frizzy or smoother as I’ve heard it can. It’s a nice shampoo for just a clean wash, but I didn’t think it stood apart from others that are half the price. If it was truly a smoothing product, I think the price would be justified since it’s so beautiful and smells amazing!

First time I used the product. My head is feeling light and hair is way too softer. It was damaged before. My hair is kinda wavy . I didn’t find any extra shine after using it. Smells light but amazing.
I also used conditioner after that.
Very beautiful packaging but if someone wants to read all the ingredients it’s so hard to read with the color combination.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review from Influenster. I really liked the Gold Lust shampoo, it had a mild scent which was calming. The product itself was pretty, with a black ombré color and the shampoo had gold glitter in it. The price is good for a travel size product that is high quality. The shampoo effective cleaned my hair and made it look shiny.

Color treated hair be warned

I really wanted to like this shampoo but unfortunately in the end it wasn’t for me. I received this for free for testing purposes. This shampoo does a great job of making your hair feel hydrated and healthier however it misses the mark when it comes to protecting hair color. This shampoo is marketed as being color safe however I quickly discovered it was stripping the toner out of my color treated hair I had just got touched up a week prior to testing this product leaving me very unhappy and having to go back to my hairstylist to get fixed. My mother who has color treated hair as well wanted to test it to see if it was just a fluke but unfortunately it did the same thing for her color treated hair as well. If this problem was fixed this would be an amazing shampoo I would use again but until then I’ll be sticking to using my current color safe shampoo so I’m not spending the extra money to get my hair color fixed.

I have spend hundred of dollars in shampoo and may hair has never felt as silky and healthy as it did when I used Oribe. I tend to wash my hair every 3 days that means that I have used it a total of three times since I received this shampoo and I have been sold on it. I when to the store and bought my mom a set. That’s how good it is. I highly recommend this product.

Amazingly Hydrating!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how effective the shampoo and conditioner was at hydrating my bleached hair. This past year I have bleached and dyed my hair many times, which has dried it out worse than ever before in my life. I have been amazed at how much better the shampoo works than other luxury shampoos at making my hair, soft, hydrated, and smell amazing! I would recommend they highlight the fact they are cruelty-free more on their bottles because I had to go and look this up myself and it is a deciding factor on whether I will purchase a product or not. 10/10 will buy and recommend.

Makes bleached hair feel healthy!

Love how this makes my hair feel! My hair is foiled with bleach every few months so it gets really dry easily but this shampoo in combination with the conditioner brought it back to life! My hair is super silky and soft when I use it. I also love how it smells so good, I always Iike at the end of the day how I can still smell it in my hair. And the packaging is so pretty - it looks great in my bathroom, like a luxe premium product. My only concern is my hair is bleach blonde and I noticed my hair became brassier faster after a few uses. To solve for that I alternated with a purple shampoo. I really love how healthy my hair feels when using this shampoo so I will continue to use and recommend!

In the past I had tried oribe texturizer and dry shampoo and been obsessed. I was able to try the shampoo and conditioner and it is pricey but so worth it. Packaging is beautiful, smell is amazing, and most importantly my hair for is naturally drying with good volume and shine. I’m hooked!
