Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo

I’ve been waiting to review this product since I received. I’ve been using this shampoo for the past two weeks and I really like it. The smells is really good and leaves my hair shine and silky.

I haven’t really tried any premium/luxury brand shampoos before, cause I thought what difference could it make. I would splurge for hair oils and masks, but never really thought that shampoo would make that much of a difference. Until I tried Oribe’s Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo that is. I cannot state enough how much I loved this shampoo. I’ll start with the packaging – it looks so luxurious, and the design is out of this world. The shampoo itself is so pretty, it literally shimmers! The scent is absolutely divine! My scalp had been a bit itchy due to cold weather, and overall dryness which contributed to hair breakage and fallout. I’ve been using the shampoo for a week now, and it made such a difference, and the hair fallout has diminished significantly, my sink no longer looks like an animal shed in there. My scalp feels less dry, and my hair looks so shiny and healthy. I think the oils and extracts in its ingredient really make the difference, and make the Gold Lust shampoo standout. I would so recommend it if you want to show your hair a little bit of TLC, and want healthy, shiny hair!

It is wonderful, super soft and lathering which I really love. the presentation of the product is very beautiful. an elegant design and a delicious gel is a perfect combination.

Overall the shampoo does the job and is perfect travel size. It’s nice to have a better brand than hotel provide. It’s compact, smells good and has very attractive packaging.

This shampoo smells fantastic and it made my coarse curly hair shinier than usual! The scent is very sophisticated and it isn't overwhelming. Using it is a pleasure. I found that the shampoo (which contains gentler surefactants rather than Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), lathered really well and made my hair feel clean without making it feel dry. All in all, I really liked this shampoo! I rated it 4 stars rather than 5 because it does contain silicones, which I personally try to avoid (I use a modified curly girl routine). However, when I used this and the Gold Lust conditioner, my hair truly did feel softer than ever... I may have to rethink silicones!

I’m in love. First of all it smells absolutely divine, it’s subtle but awesome regardless. It goes on very smooth and lathers on to the right consistency, not too much, not too little. Hours after washing and air drying my hair, it’s still soft., and even though my hair is curly and gets frizzy, I can still run my hand through it. Secondly, as mentioned I have curly hair, and my curls were popping. Curly gurl approved. Lastly, it definitely has my hair shining, I noticed it and even got a lot of compliments throughout the day. I would definitely purchase this again.

I loved this luxe repairing shampoo from Oribe! It was perfect timing to try out something new and high quality because it was 4 months after having my baby and my hair was thin and shedding. Not only is the experience of this shampoo awesome with its great lather, fabulous packaging and gorgeous scent, it has reduced breakage and helped my hair stay healthy. Thanks to vitamins and quality hair care (vitamins are super key for postpartum hair loss) my hair is now regrowing and filling in after 2 months of use! Pricey but a nice choice if you want to treat yourself.

I’m in love with this shampoo!!! The consistency is a tad thicker out of the bottle and smells AMAZING! It smells like VS Bombshell but a toned down version. The feel of the Gold Lust shampoo is nothing but absolute luxury. A little goes a long way so a quarter size for medium length hair was perfect. I do love and appreciate how squeaky clean my hair felt afterwards. There’s nothing worse than shampooing your hair and it still feeling dirty. One wash sure did the trick. I wish I knew about this shampoo sooner because I’ve tried everything and nothing seemed to help my hair. Not only does this product work, it smells amazing, and feels so luxurious!

I alway have heard about how good this brand is and wanted to try out this product but than did want to take the risk of getting something so expensive but not like it, so I’m so happy to get selected as one of the person to try out this product duos. Before we start, I have curly wavy hair and is a big fan of repairing hair products at all time. . I just had my wash day yesterday and here is how I feel: During the shower: It is very foaming which means don’t put too much like I did and smells good but not too strong which is nice. I didn’t need a lot of product to cover all of my hair( I have shoulder length hair) but I put too much and I washed my scalp with my scalp massagers to make my scalp extra clean and relax. Easy to rinse out from my hair. After shower: Still hydrated and smell 👍🏻 good, I did follow up with the conditioner that I have put a review as well to really smooth my hair out. The day after: Sometimes I faced the problem that the products makes my hair go down and look oily too fast because of the amount of oil in the product to repair but I didn’t have that problem at all, I refreshed my curls with water and it’s looking fresh and healthy. I like this product and will be continuing to use it, I think I’ll be ordering their hair oil as well myself to try it out.

I received this in exchange for my honest review. Oribe is a fantastic brand, and this is my favorite iteration of their shampoo. While this was a travel size and I have long, thick hair, I was able to spread out the use of it for the months we were given to review it. I have to say- awesome. My hair feels healthy and soft. It smells good too!! The scent doesn’t linger or be overwhelming. But it really does make your hair feel healthy. I keep finding myself touching my hair- which isn’t good because it gets frizzy. The combination of the shampoo and the conditioner are truly magical. I intend on purchasing the full size at some point.

One thing about this shampoo is that it lathers really well. I was genuinely surprised at how little you could use and it would be enough. I really wanted this shampoo to work because after reading many reviews about it, I heard lots of good things. I was shocked when I saw that it left my hair hard and not soft as my usual shampoo does. It also made applying conditioner harder because my hair just felt rough. Although the conditioner felt smooth, both left my hair falling a lot. Again, this wasn’t meant for me so maybe it would work for someone else.

Im impressed with how pretty the packaging is. Makes the shampoo appealing even before trying it. On my first wash, i noticed that the shampoo was thick not watery. I liked it because it allows you to lather better. Even before applying the conditioner my hair felt soft. The scent is really nice, i wash my hair twice a week and i noticed the scent didn't fade. I really enjoyed trying this product it helped my hair alot. I will be purchasing more as soon as i run out.

I use this shampoo along with the gold lust conditioner and I love how soft it makes my hair. I’ve always had oily hair before using Oribe products, but have found that I no longer have to wash my hair as often and my hair is way healthier. The shampoo lathers quite easily and I find that i only need to use a small amount in my short hair. I’m currently in the process of growing my hair out, so a small bottle of each product lasts me a few months. I really would recommend the Gold Lust shampoo because of how much my hair has improved after using these products, and it’s hard for me to consider even switching to a different product.

Because I exercise and get sweaty every day I need to wash every day. So I look for restorative and repairing shampoo. This Oribe shampoo is honestly really pretty and iridescent when squeezed out of the bottle. A little bit goes a long way and the lather feels luxuriously velvety. I’ve noticed since using this that my hair is super soft and silky and dries nice and fast. My hair hasn’t felt this healthy in 10 years. I’m really loving it.

Let’s start saying that the package is beautiful, when I open the box and see the products, I was impressed. After giving my review of the product, I wanted to used a few times and now has been almost one month of using the Shampoo and Conditioner, and I’m loving the results. They smell super good, is not a strong scent, it is light and really makes you feel good about it. My hair was suffering a lot, it was not looking really good and now I have to say that it is really different, it brought life again to my hair. The Shampoo really cleans your hair and scalp, making you feeling that good sensation of cleansing , my hair was a lot more oily on the last couples months and now is not anymore, the Shampoo really helped removing the oil of my hair. I’m using the Shampoo with the Conditioner and I’m getting great results, is making my hair smoother, I can say that I noticed that my hair is not falling as much it was before using theses products, now my hair is shiny and softer. I also noticed that it helped with the split ends of my hair, they are looking better. The Conditioner has the same great scent as the Shampoo and it is really moisturized your hair. You can see the results from the first use with these products. I’m just using these products and nothing more and I can noticed a lot difference in my hair, and a good difference. I totally recommend the Shampoo and the Conditioner, they really worked together on my thin and wavy hair. They are worth it.

Okay, first off I’m in love with the way this shampoo smells, it’s like a rich perfume but not overpowering, I noticed when applying my shampoo that it foamed really good and then it lathered, but still cleaned my hair thoroughly. My hair was so soft and silky and it didn’t feel heavy or weighed I’m down, this is a super light formula that makes the texture of my hair feel like a kids hair before it was touched by color! I’m on my 3rd day and my hair still isn’t that greasy which is a pleasant surprise, I absolutely LOVE this shampoo 10/10!!!

I received this product complimentary from Influenster & Oribe for my honest review. I love the smell of this product it smells luxurious which you don’t find with most travel sized products. I loved how it cleaned my hair but I didn’t like how dry it seemed to leave my ends. I currently have processed hair which is highlighted and dyed fully. My hair is normally oily on scalp but dry on ends but my hair was definitely more dry than usual. I love this as a travel product but don’t know if I would want to purchase again for long term use in full sized bottles. Lathers well, and cleans off easy, just a bit too drying for my liking.

This was so nice we had to try it twice. I used it on my braided hair and it did a great job of cleaning & cleansing my scalp. I then used it on my daughter’s curly hair and it did an equally good job of cleaning her hair and didn’t leave a residue. It proved that it is Versatel and works well on different hair types. I also appreciated the amount of slip found in the product. It also smelled soooooo good. I just had to use quite of bit of product for our hair since it’s so dense in nature. All and all I would suggest you try it!

I was really intrigued to have the opportunity to try the Oribe Gold Lust shampoo, along with the matching conditioner. I’m a bit fussy about my hair, especially since it’s not as thick and strong as it was when I was a teenager. I color it, I wash it daily, and I heat-style it, and although I do what I can to protect it, I know I fry it sometimes. The Oribe brand is at the upper end of the range of what I’ll pay for hair care products, but you know how it is — if it’s a holy grail product, sometimes it’s worth the splurge. I ran Oribe through several tests. First I used the Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner for several days, styling my hair as usual. The orange shirt photo is the result — my hair definitely dried and styled easily, leaving a result that was smoother than usual. My hair was silky and soft. Then I tried something else. I was overdue for a color touch-up (ugh, gray roots!), so I did my usual permanent box color. Then, instead of switching to a color-protectant shampoo and conditioner, I stuck with the Oribe. I was curious to see how it would treat my fresh color. The black shirt photo was taken about ten days after coloring. To be honest, I’m REALLY impressed by how gentle the Oribe was with my color. I usually see a lot more fading along my hairline by now, but this time my black-brown still looks fresh. And my hair still styles so smoothly and has no length of shine. Does this product work miracles? No; I don’t think any shampoo/conditioner does that. Is it worth the money? It’s definitely a bit pricey, so a lot comes down to your budget. But I do think it’s worth a try. I don’t baby my hair, and I felt like the Oribe visibly improved its appearance and helped me style it. More notes: the product smells lovely. The scent is really light and reminds me of something from a high-end salon. It smells clean and delicate. Also, a small amount of product goes a long way. My hair is several inches below shoulder length, and I sometimes need to use cheaper products by the handful. Oribe seems more concentrated, so I use a smaller amount and still get great results.

I enjoy this! Buy it if you wanna feel bougie and have a luxe hair washing experience, but you can for sure spend way less and have a different shampoo that isn’t as fancy that works! This shampoo won’t work any miracles if you’re hair is in need of major repair (like mine), but it’s a great shampoo if you have the money and your hair isn’t cooked! I wouldn’t recommend it for bleached hair that is extremely damaged. With all of that being said, It smells really good, the texture is fantastic, and the packaging IS BEAUTIFUL! It is very expensive, but it depends on what your needs are. Beautiful shampoo and some extra money to send on something that smells amazing? Buy it! Fried cooked hair that needs repair and needs to be moisturized? Hold off for now :)

If your hair has been feeling kinda dull, dry and lifeless and you never thought a shampoo of all things could make a visible impact, think again! This Oribe Gold Lust shampoo is the key! First, I was so impressed how little it took. I have medium- long hair and don’t really need much (I’d say a dollop about a teaspoon was enough!) it lathered nicely, had a gorgeous scent and just feels good. I typically shampoo twice and condition and this little bottle packs a great punch! I have color treated hair and sometimes it feels dry and in need is some extra love and this did it! I’ll be continuing on with the line (my usual is olaplex or living proof) and I enjoyed this treat! Thanks to Influenster and oribe for the great travel pack to have the full Gold Lust experience!

Okay so if you have chemically damaged hair or you dye your hair every other month and your hair feel dead, rough and tangled easily. You need to try this shampoo. I discovered this brand a month ago it's available at sephora its EXPENSIVE but when I first tried the sample I couldn't stop touching my hair. My hair felt so silky and smooth like they were never dyed. My virgin hair used to feel like that years ago. Guys right now sephora has an exclusive you set if you want to buy it it's the right time. I highly recommend it. Love the packaging and how it smells overall it's a magic potion in a bottle. Absolutely love this.

I have been using the Oribe Gold Lust Repair and Restore shampoo twice a week for the last 3 weeks and I love it. I love the neutral scent that it has and my hair feels amazing. I have really thin hair and this does not weigh my hair dwon or feel heavy in any way. My hair feels soft, silky and smooth after using. I love that I can let my hair air dry and it still feels so soft. this shampoo has a great lather and not much os needed on my medium length hair. overall I have been extremely happy with how this shampoo performs and the end results after using. I will definitely be recommending this to friends and family.

My hair type is wavy, can be frizzy, long, with dry/split ends. I feel that it worked well for my hair type and made my hair very soft! The product says it’s good for color treated and keratin treated hair which sometimes do I receive the keratin so I was pleased to see that. It is also vegan and cruelty free which is a plus as well! I liked the way the shampoo lathered well and my hair felt so clean after. My hair honestly did look shinier after too. I received the gold lust repair and restore shampoo from influenster for my honest opinion and honestly I love it it work very good it leaves your hair soft and smelling good its beautiful and elegant looking and the shampoo smells so good it’s very thick and Lathers up well the texture of it reminds me of a thick expensive lotion and the price isn’t bad at all it’s a good value for your money I definitely recommend you to try it if you haven’t already. Gold Lust is the my most favorite shampoo and conditioner line from Oribe. Packaging is beautiful as always. When I dyed my hair in golden blonde, it helped my hair silky smooth, rejuvenated while preventing split-end and drying. It also has vegan ingredients which is I like. The scent is fresh and nit overpowering. I recommend to wash your hair twice, then apply matching conditioner. Your hair would thank you later I can say. It’s pricy but I think it’s worth it for me. Highly recommend it!
