Supershine Moisturizing Cream

For context, I have thick, long hair that initially dries wavy, fluffy (but not necessarily frizzy), and coarse after washing. After a few hours, it becomes smoother, silkier, and straighter. Ideally a product can expedite this process. This lotion/cream kind of does the job, but I find other serums, oils, and sprays do much better and are easier to apply and distribute evenly, especially at this price point. The first picture is before, second is after. It reduces the "fluff" (volume) but doesn't provide enough smoothness as an oil would. It has a nice, typical salon product scent.

The Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Hair Cream will likely become a staple in my beauty routine. After smoothing it through damp hair post-shower, I noted that the texture is really lightweight and doesn’t leave that residue feeling that can happen on finer hair. This cream also smells divine. After letting my hair air dry with no other products in it, there was a noticeable softness with no residue like some leave-ins can cause. It’s way shinier than shown in a bathroom photo too - my boyfriend even noticed and complimented me on it. :) This product is a 10/10 for me!

My hair is very thick, frizzy and up until I discovered this product thanks to oribe, and I fluenster unmanageable. This left my hair frizz and flyaway free, soft, silky, and non oily feeling at all or weighed down. I love the way that it smells its very subtle which is what you want in a hair product. I'm literally now obsessing over this product and I just got it, and used it once. I will forever be a customer. The design is beautiful and very modern. I will pay however much it takes to keep this product stocked up for myself for as long as I have hair. I will also recommend this product to anybody I know and anybody I meet in my future.

This dryness causes my baby hairs to stick up and look annoyingly frizzy on top. I hadn’t been able to find a product that wasn’t greasy. I will say this product has helped me with this product today. I put it on my scalp and lowers strands of hair early in the morning and throughout the day it has maintained control and healthy appearance. The frizz was almost completely gone. This product is lightweight, feels super velvety, and smells amazing. I will be sure to use it all the way through. You can feel the quality in this product. 😊😊

My hair is very fine, and has a habit of frizzing up and looking very dry from the roots to the ends. Even after haircuts, my ends will look very dry despite not being split. After using this cream on my hair, it looks so smooth from root to end and it is very easily untangled. I do not have frizzy hair after I use this cream, and it works better than a lot of hairsprays that I used to put on my hair, because it doesn’t involve copious amounts of oil. I put the cream in right after I shower, and it helps my hair smooth out by the time it dries naturally. It also works well with blow dry. The cream also smells pleasant and gives your hair a warm, comforting smell. I definitely recommend trying this cream if your hair never seems to stay down after it is dry or if you struggle with frizzy hair like me.

This is a great product! I’m surprised by how much I like it, but I genuinely find myself reaching for it whenever I do my hair. It’s a very lightweight moisturizing shine cream. I mostly use it to smooth flyaways after I style my hair. I have very fine hair, and I find a lot of products like this to be too heavy (which makes my hair look greasy). A little does go a long way with this cream, but it doesn’t weigh down my hair at all. It adds shine and makes me feel really put together. The scent is strong, but it does fade quickly, so I don’t mind it with this product. And the packaging is very luxurious. I would definitely recommend, especially if you are a fan of Oribe!

I received this product to use in exchange for an honest review and I have to say, this is AMAZING. I have virgin, Asian hair and my hair has been extremely dull and dry. The water here is extremely hard and it ruined my hair for so long! I started using a clarifying shampoo, which was great but it still didnt change my hair. However, adding this in my routine has been a game changer. It is pricey, but it’s been so good for moisture and shine! I’ve used alterna CC cream, it’s a ten, carols daughter which I all really enjoy. But the Oribe is a game changer. I will absolutely repurchase this once I am out.

I have very thick, coarse bleached hair so my hair definitely is in need of moisture. I was highly skeptical before trying but OMG is this stuff great!!! I used it several times before this review and love it. I apply to wet hair and let my hair air dry. Usually when I let my hair air dry it's a big frizzy mess and looks dry af. BUT this stuff makes my hair look and feel AMAZING! And best of all, I can't feel the product in my hair after applying and letting my hair dry. I will say there was a bit of a learning curve on how much to apply. This stuff is $$$$ but totally worth it.

I love this product so much! I bring it with me everywhere to smooth out my fly aways. It leaves your hair super soft & moisturized. It always has a very pleasant smell to it and isn't too strong. Highly recommend this product!

My hair texture is almost always dry and frizzy. However, after applying this to my hair, the texture changed. It made it a lot smoother, shinier, and had no friz! Would highly recommend this product!

It makes me feel like i just left a salon for a treatment. It’s so bouncy and flowy after a blow-dry. I have been touching my hair nonstop and it didn’t grease my hair at all. I was skeptical with the creamy texture as it usually make my hair oily/greasy and weighted down but it did not. This is no different than leave in conditioner spray but moisturizing. It makes all the frizz go away! This is gonna be on the front of my hair shelf and my holy grail!

This is my favorite product from Oribe! It literally brings life to damaged or textured hair. Will work for all hair types, but dry, textured, and damage hair types will truly fall in love. Not only is it very moisturizing, it leaves behind a natural shine, gives amazing slip, detangles like a dream, eliminates frizz, protects, leaves hair soft and healthy looking! What's even better, very little is needed to achieve the previous mentioned benefits. I have long, wavy, but fine hair and I only need a pea-size amount. This is a pricey product, but a travel size bottle last me 2 months. Highly, highly recommend! Just buy it amd fall in absolute love.

First of all, the smell is absolutely divine! You immediately get the scent when you open the package but it’s not overpowering once’s it’s on your hair! I use about a pea sized amount on my hair before blowing drying and then another pea size amount on each side after blow drying. It makes my hair so soft keeps my split ends in check! In the pictures, the right side of the picture has the product while the left does not. You can clearly see the ends look healthier and shinny without looking greasy! I have noticed other similar products end up weighing my hair down but this product is much more lightweight and even more effective!

I was gifted the Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I tried using this instead of my normal combination of products to see if I could consolidate. I normally use a blow dry lotion, silk serum and heat protectant after washing and conditioning my 4c hair. I like to blow dry my hair straight before styling. This cream truly replaced the other products I have on hand. It smells great and is lightweight to not weigh my hair down. I was thoroughly impressed by this cream. Normally, I have difficulty with my ends stretching while I dry (shrinkage), but I worked through my curls with no issues and no shrinkage! My hair looks and feels moisturized! I have replaced some products after using this!

Obsessed with everything about this!!! I have bleached hair this summer and it’s been sooooo dry! This product is exactly what I needed right now. The smell, texture and effectiveness of the product is unmatched. It is a luxurious reinvention of leave-in conditioner, supreme cream. It helps to satisfy the thirstiest hair by calming frizz, elevating shine and restoring hair to supernatural softness. Especially loved by medium-to-thick and extra-long hair which is what I have- medium to thick hair! It is travel size which makes it easy to bring along with you for travel. If you use it along with the mirror rinse, you won’t regret it!

I had been on the hunt for a leave in cream for my hair that would make it less frizzy, softer, and just more manageable. I had used maybe half a dozen other “moisturizing creams” that didn’t do anything to my hair. When I saw I was receiving the Oribe Supershine moisturizing hair cream, I got excited. I applied it to my hair after a shower and let it air dry. My hair wasn’t frizzy, very shiny, and incredibly soft to the touch and didn’t make my hair feel greasy at all. It literally feels like soft feathers! Now I don’t have to be on the hunt for a moisturizing cream that actually works. In love with this product, a definite 10/10.

I Feel like I haven't had this product long enough to give a fully good review, but I will say that I have been enjoying using it. It doesn't leave my hair crispy in any kind of way and it also doesn't leave it oily. My hair is highlighted very blonde, So it definitely needs moisture and so far, this is providing that...but again, I haven't had it that long. I've been using it directly out of the shower after my hair dries a little bit and then randomly throughout the day if it's looking a little dull. The smell is okay, it's not disgusting.

I used this product along with a light amount of Olaplex 9 & 7. I believe I may have not used enough of this product for the amount of hair I have, which is likely why I have quite a bit of frizz. Curl definition is good & very soft in some areas while others have no definition, again likely due to an incorrect amount of product. I did brush through for an even distribution with my Denman brush like I usually do though so i’m not sure. This product is light and doesn’t feel greasy. I’d like to see how this performs for a blowout, in the meantime I’ll probably stick to my normal hair routine. I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I love this product, I really have no complaints. It’s moisturizing, completely tames and practically eliminates appearances of frizzies, flyaways, and split-ends, and adds a glossy enviable shine. Swear it even brought out some of the red in my brown hair, making me think it’s also good for dullness/brassiness. I had never heard of Oribe but apparently (I have been perusing reviews online) people really love the brand. I think it would be worth exploring and discovering their other products. You’re really only supposed to use a small amount on wet or damp hair, maybe add a little to dry hair to make your style even sleeker. I made the mistake of using several dime-sized amounts because my hair is long and thick. But this product is actually ideal for all kinds of hair but especially long hair and thick hair. So I should have followed directions better. And as a result my hair looks a little dirty/greasy in some lighting but it’s not too bad and in good lighting looks so much better than usual. Definitely an improvement. I used this product after shampooing, conditioning, and using a keratin mask treatment. It says specifically it is fine for keratin-treated and color-treated hair. PETA-approved too! 🐾 Even when my hair was still wet/damp, as you can see in the videos, adding this product (which has a luxurious texture) made it feel smoother and softer and silkier right away. Now that my hair is dry, I can’t stop running my hand through it, it feels so silky and perfect. And good hair days are a bit rare for me lately! I’m way overdue for a salon visit and my hair is often dry and a bit frizzy and a little unruly even. But not today thanks to Oribe and Influenster! I feel like if I wanted to really dress up and look glamorous, I would want to use Oribe to make my hair look fabulous. Designed for various types of hair. Straight, wavy, curly, coiled. Works great on mine and I would even consider buying it again although it retails for $52 on Sephora and that’s over my budget. When I do run out of my Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Hair Cream, and that will take quite a while if use it properly ‘cause it would seem a little goes a long way, I do hope to save up a little and splurge on some more. It didn’t look nearly as nice though before I heat-styled it with my hairdryer and straightener. It looked a little rougher, wilder. I probably could’ve added mousse and scrunched it for shiny waves. It was definitely shinier and softer. And the fragrance was described as so divinely perfumed but in my opinion it smells a little subtle, and very much like something you’d expect from a haircare product purchased at a salon. Very nice, yes, but nothing to write home about. Still, perfect product for the price. I’m very impressed and so happy with this hair cream. It’s effective, luxurious, and brilliant, and brings out the best in your hair. I’d wear it on very special occasions as well as just to bum around the house feeling prettier than usual. I used this on my sons hair which is low porosity, dense hair with course strands. I saturated his hair with water and rubbed it in to prep his hair for the moisturizer and applied this all over, smoothing it in. It did give his hair the appearance of moisture/hydration (as in the pic) however his hair was dry the next day. It does have a strong fragrance, however I did notice it dissipated after sometime and I didn’t notice it. When I took a look at the ingredients, silicone is the 2nd ingredient, so this may be good as a blow drying cream for my natural hair, but I wouldn’t recommend it because it doesn’t actually penetrate the hair strands, it just coats it.

I love this moisture cream I use it as a wash and go cream and it adds all the moisture into my curls. As an Oribe girlie I love the packaging the scent is pleasant and I high key need the larger supershine cream . A little goes a long way but that’s never stopped me before. I plan on upgrading the size I received. I recommend this for anyone looking to add moisture and shine back to their hair. This worked really well for my thick kinky curls.

I have bleached thin hair, pretty damaged, so I was looking for something to use after washing my hair to make it easier to detangle and make it smoother and softer overall. Also I was intrigued by claims of super shine. I can not say that it didn't deliver, but I wasn't super in love, I wasn't gravitating towards it. I didn't notice intense shine or gloss, after it dries on your hand, for example, I can see tiniest shimmer parts (they are barely visible, but they are present), which I am also not a big fan of. Also the smell is a bit strong for my liking, and not that much frizz control, thus 4/5 from me. I must say that I usually don't blow dry my hair, but leave it air dry. This product is truly outstanding! It leaves my hair incredibly shiny, especially after a blowout or using a flat iron. Both my mom and I have long, thick hair, and this product keeps it moisturized for days without leaving it feeling greasy. As a flight attendant, the dry airplane environment can be brutal on my hair, but ever since I started using this product, my hair has remained smooth and moisturized. It's unbelievably soft, and I no longer experience the rough tangles I did before using it. Plus, the scent is absolutely divine and incomparable! Despite having long, straight hair, this product makes it feel like silk and incredibly healthy. I'm completely hooked for life!

This smells AMAZING. I used a decent size amount and applied it to my towel dried hair and then combed through. My hair still smells great a day and a half later and feels soft. I love that you can also use this product for fly aways since I get a lot of those and can easily add in product throughout the day! It’s great that it comes in a trial size so I can take it with me to tame my hair!!

I should start this off by saying that I was sent this product in exchange for my review. As someone who uses Oribe products, I had a feeling that I was going to love this one. I was correct. I love the smell and how soft is makes my hair feel. there is a visible difference in the moisture in my hair as seen in the pictures. Run, don’t walk, to get this product now!

The instructions state to work into damp hair blow dry naturally and you can also use this product on stray hair throughout the day. All products from this company are formulated with safe and high-quality innovative ingredients. They are dermatologist, tested color and keratin treatment safe. This product is UV protection for hair, formulated without sulfates. This is also vegan and gluten-free and probably approved by PETA. The product is good for 12 months after opening container. I absolutely love this brand and I will always love every single thing they put out this product does not weigh down your hair nor does it take away any of the hairs volume. It adds great shine and conditioning, along with that trademark scent this company has. Absolutely love this product and I recommended to everybody.
