Run-Through Detangling Primer

I received this product for free from Influenster and Oribe in exchange for my honest review. I have actually used this product before and was so excited to get it to try because it’s been a while, but love that it easily detangles my hair and is also a primer! I use a blow dryer brush often so this product is perfect for detangling my hair before using it and also protecting it from heat damage! I have found that it does soften and keeps my hair shiny and healthy and easier to brush through after application!

I have been using this product for several years, I swear by it. It's the perfect compliment to help with combing through tangles. However, when you are in the last quarter of your remaining product, the spray nozzle stops functioning. I feel it's due to the product being thicker than what the nozzle is capable of pulling up and spraying out. Usually, toward the end, I take the product that is remaining and place in a new container. This is my only complaint. The nozzle is not meant for thicker products.

I have curly hair and it is really hard to brush my hair out without some kind of product sometimes I have to use a couple of different products but I noticed with this primer/detangler I don't have to use a lot of product it's almost like it locks everything I need in so I don't have to keep using unnecessary amounts of product making my hair feel heavy. I really did injoy using this but for the price it is kinda expensive but it dose work well so if you have the extra money to treat yourself go for it.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. It’s my new favorite go-to leave in conditioner! I think it’s a great product that helps detangle hair, smells great, and protects against heat damage which is really important to me as I blow dry my hair after every wash. The product is easy to use and I like how it make my hair feel overall, however I do wish it was more moisturizing for my dry ends. I enjoy the product overall; however personally I will not be repurchasing because of the price.

The product is great. I'm giving one star because they discontinued the travel size. Why, Oribe, why?!? I can't bring a full size bottle of this with me to travel and I can't travel without it. I'll now be spending my $ at Purology for their travel size prep spray.

I really like this product. I have very fine hair and Im always worried about breakage. This helps me comb out my wet hair. I love that it's not heavy for my fine hair and it just feels like im spraying water in my hair. Smells great and makes my hair softer.

I generally do not remove stars for an item's scent because I know that the experience of a fragrance is so subjective, but this detangling primer was so heavily scented that I could not even use it beyond my initial try. The very strong perfume-like fragrance would absolutely interfere with a fragrance someone might choose to wear on a daily basis and lasted for far too long. It took me four washes and over a week to not be able to smell this in my hair. For that reason, I could never use this product on a regular basis. It worked fine, but the cost for this item was not justified by its performance. I have used other detanglers that have cost far less but performed just as well. One star removed for the intensity of the scent and another for the unfavorable cost-to-benefit ratio.

Hair type: loose curls/waves. Color treated hair. I wash my hair several times a week after going to the gym. This primer is amazing to spray on wet hair and then brushing though. Helps me get through tangles easily. I used this spray alone for a few days and it truly is a primer, my hair was still frizzy. I used my normal styling products after this and felt like my hair was softer. I am not a fan of the nozzle. It feels like it doesn’t spray easily, but I do like the product itself.

This is the only Oribe product that I do not recommend. It does not work at all on my fine tangly hair. With the price you pay for these products, I’m disappointed that they do not offer free returns.

I love everything about this spray! It has great benefits, like heat protection and UV protection. It helps dramatically with my dry ends. It makes my hair so soft and silky! It also smells so good! If you're sensitive to scents probably not for you or smell instore first. It gives my hair a beautiful shine. It makes my hair soo much more manageable and less frizzy. This stuff is definitelypart of my haircare routine. I will not let myself run out of this! Thank you so much Influenster!

Works well as a detangler. It’s only getting three stars because of its horrible smell. To me, it smells like a wet dog.

I didn’t really believe it, but just a few sprays and my hair never gets tangled anymore. It also smells incredible.

I have fine hair that tangles very easily and this is the best detangler I have found. I received this product from influenster. This immediately separates my curls into beautiful ringlets. I used this as a dry hair curl reviver and I usually have more wavy hair but it's making my long hair into ringlets. It's so pretty. The packaging is luxurious. The one thing to be aware of is the scent is very very strong and fruity, a little like apple. My husband said I smell like a hair salon. The effect is worth it. It's a good smell though.

This detangling primer has made brushing my hair a thousand times easier. I have very long hair that gets tangled. So brushing it can be challenging at times. This stuff however has made it so much easier. The brush just glides through your hair after using this detangling primer. It doesn’t weigh your hair down or make it look greasy either. It does have a scent. I personally don’t like the scent, but it’s not that noticeable after a few hours.

I used this product on both wet and dry hair to see how it would perform. I noticed I had to use quite a bit of product to achieve any kind of effortless detangling. Using a lot of product tended to make my hair less bouncy and shiny. I did enjoy using it for when my hair was very tangly, as it does help smooth out knots. I enjoy the spray bottle it mists very evenly. Overall it was just an average detangler. Doesn't smell or perform amazingly.

I tried the primer and I really liked it, the smell is not strong or unpleasant, the texture is light, the hair feels very soft and what I like the most is that it protects the color of my hair since it is bleached and protects it from heat. which is also good since i like to blow dry it with heat, my hair was very soft after applying it. I recommend it, I just wish it smelled a little stronger since I like it when my hair is smelling.

Great for dry virgin or colored hair; if the hair is significantly damaged, I will stick with a gold lust line. It's a great spray, just a bit pricey. But if tangled hair is a primary concern, it earth the penny. I would also recommend you comb your hair during washing while having a conditioner on. So you would need less of a spray. Also, if the hair is tangled all the time, don't rub it with a towel. Just squeeze the water of it.

I really like using this spray while my hair is still damp after a wash but before blow drying. It smells great and leaves my hair feeling silky and lightweight like as if it was professionally done. I do wish the box or bottle included instructions as to when the product should be used (dry hair? wet hair?) and how many degrees of heat it protects against. Other than that, I would repurchase and recommend to my friends.

First off, this stuff smells great so that’s a plus! I have pretty thick and long hair (down to mid/lower back) so it gets pretty tangled when it’s wet. I’ve used this after different levels of conditioning and I was hoping to like it more but I didn’t feel like it did the greatest job detangling. I’ll continue to use it because its better than nothing but I have definitely used better detangling products in the past.

I tried it two times before giving an honest review Product seems high quality, feels amazing and the smell it’s pleasant After use my hair felt soft and manageable The only thing that I am not too sure. My hair is fine and thin. I think it was a bit too dense for my type of hair, definitely I will have to use less amount of product than the first two times. Other than that I would say you can try it.

I am usually hesitant to try new products because I have very fine, brittle hair but any Oribe product I am confident in trying and this product is magic in a bottle! As a kid, I used a detangler and as I got older, I stopped using a detangler. Now as an adult, this is the best product especially when it comes to hair care! I use right after the shower when my hair is always a knotted mess and it works!

I love this detangling spray. The application of the spray - the product gets distributed evenly and mist is fine. After one use, I noticed my hair feel so much softer and I was able to easily comb it with no trouble which surprised me considering my hair is wavy and tends to be get tangled quit a bit. It smells amazing and the smell is long lasting. It’s like hair perfume and a detangler all in one.
