Run-Through Detangling Primer

Oribe has been my favorite brand for hair products. This detangling product is another excellent hair product they have. I really like the smell and how it makes my hair so soft and smooth. The packaging is great as well - I like the bottle and how easy it is to spray the primer to my hair. I’ve been using this product for couple of days now and I can definitely tell the difference. My hair feel like I just got them done at a hair salon. I DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. You should definitely give it a try. It’d be worth your while.

This stuff is AMAZING. I have never dry and wavey hair so the detangular part is this product is PHENOMENAL. It also leaves my hair feel soft shiny and smelling amazing!

Not only does it do an amazing job at detangling, I also blow dried my hair and curled it and my hair has never held a curl so well while being extremely soft!

My hair gets detangled within no more than a minute after spraying it on and brushing it. The before and after pics were taken no more than 3 minutes apart!

I always do my hair 2-3 times a week with Dyson. This product helps me a lot, my hair smells nice and soft. I need more experience to comment

I was sent this product to give an honest review. This product is like a milky, diluted conditioner consistency. It definitely gets the job done of detangling. The smell of this product is good and the sprayer also works well! I was a bit confused as to whether I was supposed to use this on wet/damp hair or dry hair, or if it was okay to use for both. What sets this product apart from regular detangle sprays is that this one is almost like a leave in conditioner as well. It's pretty much a 3 in 1: detangler, leave in conditioner, and priming protective spray. I only gave this a 4 star because although it's a great product I could live without it, but overall it is a top product of you are looking for a good detangling spray!

I have tried a good number of Oribe products and they have always been top notch! This detangling leave in smells amazing just like their other products and the packaging looks great which is always a plus. This product works great for my long, fine, straight hair. Using any kind of product in my hair can result in it being greasy and weighed down but this one is perfect! It doesn’t leave my hair weighed down or feeling like there is any residue in it. My hair feels softer and smoother after using this. My hair can be pretty frizzy although it is straight and fine and this product seems to help with the frizz and smooth out my hair. I was sent this product to review but based on my experience I would pay retail price for it.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Oribe in exchange for my honest review. Immediately, the packaging is luxurious and has a good weight to it. I washed my hair then used as directed; misted lightly throughout my roots to ends, combed through, then styled. This product was easy to use. It went on as a mist that wasn’t too creamy or watery, it was a good consistency. This product’s scent is very similar to the “It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In”. When brushing my hair, I did notice that the product made it easier than it normally would be without product. I have naturally wavy, bleached blonde hair. I used this product two times, one with styling and one without. With blow drying and curling, my hair felt very smooth, tangle-free, and looked shiny. It did have a slight frizz to it, so I had to add some oil. Without styling, my natural wavy actually looked pretty good. Sometimes when I use other leave-in conditioners on my natural hair it causes it to look crunchy and still very frizzy, but this product made it very smooth with minimal frizz. I did have to add some oil as well, but not much. This primer is also said to protect from damage caused by heat and knots, which I really appreciate and is something I am looking for in a leave-in hair product. Overall, I would recommend this product.

I was very excited to receive this product because I have heard great things about Oribe and because my hair is naturally very prone to tangling. I really like that this is in a spray form - it's not too watery but sprays really nicely for light and even coverage. It works well enough when drying my hair with a dryer; you can definitely feel that the product is there, and it performs very similarly to other primers I've used. I probably wouldn't use this primarily as a "primer" but I really like how it works as a detangler, and it has a really pleasant scent.

Look no further for a leave in conditioner/ detangler because this stuff is it! The smell is amazing, mature and it lasts for several hours. I love how this detangler is sprayable for easy application. It also works wonders on stubborn knots and tangles. I usually wake up in the morning with crazy bed head and a couple sprays of this makes it easy to get out all the knots without the pain and hair fall outs. I found myself spraying it in my hair even when it was already brushed out because it honestly smells so good and leaves your hair looking shiny and healthy. The price is a little spendy but the bottle is big and will last a while so in my opinion it is worth it big time!! Highly recommend, I’m definitely buying another bottle when I run out of this one!

Okay this is THE BEST PRODUCT EVER. I’m a licensed cosmetologist and let me tell you this is hands down liquid gold. It not only goes a long way, but it gives you moisture control, shine, easy brushing AND some heat protection! This is for literally anyone and everyone! I wouldn’t just walk to get this, I would run! You won’t ever look back! This will be your forever best friend! And it’s super light weight with natural light oils to nourish you hair. Great for those with very thin and light hair! It will not weigh it down!

WOW. My hair gets pretty matted after getting out the shower, which causes me to use two different hair oils and product to try and get all the tangles out. And after using that much product, my hair gets a bit heavy but after using this, I have to say I am obsessed. It has replaced the large amount of other products, I would put in my hair with just a little bit from this. Very light weight smells amazing and it does the job way better than anything I’ve tried. I wanted to see if this would make my hair greasy so I let the products sit in my hair for two days and I can say that it did not increase the greasy-ness at all. I even put it in my dry hair to see if it would work just as well and it did and still left it smelling so good. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a detangler

Since I have very fine hair, my hair tends to knot extremely quickly after shampooing or just during my everyday activities. This product was extremely helpful in detangling my fine hair. Also, the smell is wonderful. I’ve tried many detangling sprays in which I didn’t like the smell and/or the outcome. I can say that I loved the outcome that this product had on my hair. My hair felt soft, detangled, and smelt amazing! Also, the packaging was simplistic and classy which, of course, is important since many individuals are visual shoppers. Overall, I have nothing to criticize about this product. Oribe is killing it with their amazing products! I plan on purchasing this once my bottle runs out.

I've been using this for years. Since way back when it was $75 and not $40 ish. I absolutely loved it and used it all of my kids. (3 girls and a boy all with different hair types.) It smelled so nice and worked well on all of us. Until the last few bottles I got. (The last few months of 2024.) They changed the scent. What was once a very light a pleasant scent is now so overpowering like old lady perfume. I sprayed one spray on my oldest daughter and both of us winced. I'll never ever understand why a brand changes something that already sells so well. Why make a light pleasant scent so overpowering? I have removed my 5 star reviews from Amazon and have low left one stars. There is no reason to do this especially when in this day and age most people do not like overpowering or perfume scents. I cant express my disappointment enough. I absolutely loved this product and was a loyal customer for so so long.

I'm 4b and 4c hair type and I was very satisfied with the results while using this product. My hair was knot free. And smelled amazing. I like how this product felt like my hair was soft and manageable. I used this product after wash day and after I blow dried my hair and it was shiny and had a lot of volume. The scent was very pleasant also. The only problem I had was how it distributed the bottle design was hard to hold with wet hands. Other than that it was a win.

I really liked this product. I have fine, curly hair that gets pretty tangled. This definitely helped me comb out my hair without much of a hassle. The smell is nice as well! It’s not super over powering. It didn’t weigh down my hair or make it look greasy, which is a plus. I also really like how it is also a heat protectant. I can’t say if it made my hair softer though because the shampoo and conditioner I use already do that. However, I do like the product a lot!

My hair is so easy to brush even just with my fingers. Most of the time I don’t use my hairbrush anymore. It made my hair so soft and silky. It’s definitely a must have. It's not really runny so it's easy to use and spread throughout your hair. I've seen that people say the smell is heavy but personally I think it's a lighter scent and doesn't leave my hair greasy when you use it correctly. This product makes your hair manageable and helps with the tangles for sure, I definitely recommend.

My hair is long, very tangled, thin, blond. I used shampoo and then primer to wet hair. I waited about 5 minutes and then dried it with a hair dryer. And this primer helped me brush my hair without any problems. I'm very happy because that was my main problem. In addition, the pleasant smell of the primer and the hair look smooth and well-groomed. I would recommend to those who have a problem due to tangled hair. I am completely satisfied with this tool.

I got this product in a voxbox and i’m ecstatic! The smell is divine and the product does everything it claims to do: primes and leaves hair soft and silky. I have very thick hair that is difficult to brush through when wet and with this spray, it is so easy to brush through!! The spray is a bit more thick than water, more like a cream; it isn’t too heavy to spray out of the bottle. This is a really wonderful detangler and I will be purchasing once I run out.

I receive this product for my honest review.What I like about this product is that is a spray so you don’t have to put it your hand. I use this product after getting out of the shower to detangle my hair. It delivers what it promises. The description says that the product is a detangling primer, and indeed, it does. I don't know how it works, but it seems like magic so fast. I have curly hair with highlights, so it's hard to comb, but after a few sprays of this primer, in seconds my hair is ready. The only not so positive point for me was the smell, I don't think it's stinky, but it could be smellier. However, this is a personal matter.

This product has given me shine, softness and hair that feels like velvet to brush through. I would absolutely recommend for people with longer hair that tends to get knots, and curly hairs that need to be combed to create its curls. It adds shine and according to the label, it’s also heat protection, which makes this a great all around product. Not to mention the smell - it’s tropical and fresh, not too strong or too bland.

I love this product but the spray bottle nozzle broke :( It’s an expensive product so it’s unfortunate because I had half of a bottle left! This is my favorite detangling product and my hair is EXTREMELY tangley/ knotty. This is the BEST! Just sad my bottle is now broken.

Influenster sent me this product in a Vox Box and I am so happy with it! My honest opinion on this hair primer is that is detangles with just a few sprays! My hair is usually knotted pretty bad after showers and I used about 4 sprays and it brushed out so easily! I also feel my hair was very hydrated after using it! I definitely recommend trying out this product if you have dry and easily knotted hair!

I have very fine hair so too much of any product will weigh it down! This product was pretty light but I still had the best results by spritzing a little product on my hand first then running through the ends first and then what little was left towards the roots. I think it helps detangle enough as any leave in type would but it’s smell is so nice! Leaves my hair softer for sure! Would buy again!
