Imperial Blowout Transformative Styling Crème

I was excited to try this creme. It was a disappointment. It made my hair sticky. It took longer to blow dry. I was going out so I couldn't re-wash my hair until the next day. It did make my hair straight but did not feel clean.

Product is very heavy for my hair and no matter how little I use it still comes out stiff. I will not be purchasing again.

I absolutely love Oribe products and have been using them over a decade. But this product was not for me. For reference, I have long, curly hair that I prefer to blow dry straight. I typically use the royal blowout spray with the gold lust oil or other creams. This product gave my hair grip versus slip. It deposited texture. And took a lot of blowing out and flat ironing to smooth. I contemplated returning but it’s a hassle. Maybe I’ll give it to my daughter

The first time I used this product, it was a disaster. It was BIG...but STIFF and sticky and like Aquanet had found its way back. I was mad. But before I hit return, I tried 1 more time...with about 1/4 of what I started with. And it was amazing! Apply in sections to get root to tip. I can get a solid 4, maybe 5 days out of my blowout. I have long, fine strand, think wavy/curly hair. No frizzy. And quick restyle if needed. It works...but just a little.

I am truly impressed with Oribe Imperial Blowout Transformative Styling Crème . I have fine thin hair that tends to get oily at the scalp. I found this product gave my hair the extra thickness of Oribe thickening spray without feeling gritty. I can easily run my hands through my hair. I followed the directions and used the product from route to end and my roots still has good volume even in my fine here. The product comes out like a crème mouse and I used 2 healthy pumps in my hair (which I was concerned might be too much but I haven’t seen evidence of that). And the smell…I would buy this product just for that wonderful Oribe product scent. I wasn’t sure what to expect but somehow this still exceeded my hopes. Definitely recommend.

If you know Oribe you are probably familiar with the bottle and the scent. I was a little thrown off because the product page calls this a “spray” and it definitely is not. This is more like a serum, or leave in conditioner as it’s a little on the heavier side. I have fairly thin hair but I have a lot and it’s dry so I don’t usually worry about products weighing my hair down. I ran this through my hair probably a little drier than I would like because I was worried it was going to sit on top of my hair and not absorb, therefor looking greasy. But it actually turned out ok. I blow dried my hair when it was about 85% dry and it left my hair shiny and more manageable. I also styled with curls after and it held my curls well into the evening. It’s a winner.

This product makes my hair dry and ratty looking. Unfortunately it’s too late for me to return it, since there is only a 30 day return policy.

I give it four stars for the long lasting scent. I was expecting to love this product more. I was a little disappointed after using this product a few times and don’t get the full “blowout effect”. It gives my hair some volume, but not as much as I was expecting. A little goes a long ways as too much seems to weigh my hair down

I bought this and the anti humidity spray, definitely a splurge, with the goal of getting and keeping a blowout look after washing my hair. I was introduced to the product at a salon, but have come to realize, the smooth end result was due to the efforts of the stylist and not the products.

This is my second can that i will be using. As w all Oribe products a little goes along way. So i use about a nickel sized amount on shoulder length hair after applying their Heat Protectant. Its smoothing, add body. I don’t see much of volume at roots though. Recommend

I am totally obsessed with these products. I tried this one for the first time and I don’t like it at all. It leaves a film on my hair that doesn’t feel good. I found it more difficult than most products to return. Really turned me off to this product line

I used this product for two weeks now and I love it! My hair looks great all week after styling. When I put the cream in it feels reach, but after my hair is dried and styled, there is no residue - only great volume!

The matte texture is not for me. Initially my hair struggled to absorb the product. Then the blow dry came out stiff with weird dull texture. Thank goodness for the Gold Lust Oil that saved my silk press!

Love this product! I am in my late 50s. My hair is thining and losing its elasticity and volume. This product makes me look like I have a full head of healthy hair and styling is a breeze! It does change the texture of my hair somewhat. Perhaps it is necessary in order to get the hair looking thicker and fuller.

Transformative, imperial, any other adjectives you might want. This crème is so amazing. Like all Oribe products, it smell heavenly and has a wonderful texture. It’s price, but a little goes a long way! The first time I used it, I went into a meeting and hear, “Your hair is so puffy!” Meant in a good way. Also, the first time is always a test. I’ve tamed and mastered it now.

Honestly there isn't an Oribe product that I don't love! From the high quality ingredients, to healthy hair care products and the amazing smell of all of their products. I love them all. I have strayed away to use other products but always always always come back to Oribe! The Blowout Transformative Styling Cream is a must for protecting your hair when using heat.

I use this EVERY time I blow dry my hair now. It has made such a difference in how my hair dries and how long it lasts in a style after blow drying. For someone with fine hair, I don’t find that it weighs my hair down at all either, just makes it look like I got a professional blowout even when I just rough dry it quickly. Will always be repurchasing.

I was looking for a new brand to try for my straight hair and came upon this brand. I needed something to curl my straight hair and this did just that, faster than the previous brand I used as well. I was worried that this might be heavy so I only used a small amount just to cover the tip lightly (since that’s where I curl my hair) came out perfect.

I have been using this product for more than ten years . Love this blowout transformative. I have thin fine hair nothing will make my hair look like it has volume and bouncing like this styling cream . Unfortunately today I did not find it in my Niman Markus or Saks Fifth Avenue atlanta . I had to rush order it because I was traveling overseas.

I really like this blow out spray! If gives me volume and helps hold the shape of my style. It's a little pricey so I can't always afford to get it but when I can I definitely do because compared to the others I have tried I prefer this one especially once I figured out the best way to use it after reading some of the other reviews! Haha

I have long and dense fine hair so I was looking for a product to help me prolong my hairstyle and this did just that. When I curl my hair the hold is longlasting while leaving the hair soft and supershiny. Because it has a powdery feel I think it helps control oil production as well. Jus love this productm

I have been wanting to try this forever. Finally, I received a gift card to Sephora for my birthday and pulled the trigger. It’s a fine blowout cream, do I think it does anything better than any other luxury hair care brand? No, not really. If I didn’t buy this with a gift card I would return it.

This is the bomb!! No other product produces such a beautiful slick blowout as this this! My hair is fine and curly, and Oribe has figured out how to make my hair look, thick, lustrous, sleek and beaugiful by the end of my blow out. I now dry upside down with a round brush. Love this!!

I wasn’t happy with this styling cream. Perhaps my hair is too thin and fine. I found it really weighted my hair down and reduced the shine, actually quite disappointing as it indicated it would good for all hair types. I will stick with my Kerastase styling/heat protectant.
