Hair Alchemy Fortifying Treatment Serum

I received this product for free from Influenster and Oribe in exchange for my honest review. I have used this product as both a pre-styling serum and as an overnight treatment, and it is amazing! As a pre-styling serum I can almost feel it protecting my hair and afterwards my hair comes away feeling as though I have just left the salon. After using it as an overnight serum, I wake up with hair that feels both soft and protected. I have also noticed fewer split ends and shedding since I started using the Alchemy set from ORIBE, and yes I do use all of the related products every time I wash my Hair. I am a convert.... and I LOVE IT!

I have been testing this Problem Fortifying Serum for a week now and I'm in love. In just a week my hair is much stronger and healthier looking then it was beforem it used to be dry and dull. Now its hydrated and healthy. It gives a beautiful natural shine, and my hair is visibly more stronger than it was before. I was actually getting compliments on how good my hair has been looking, i have Platinum blonde hair which is hard to manage and this product is my new favorite i use it everyday after my shower. I def recommend especially id toy have dry dull hair and your tired of it. Try this for nice healthy strong shiny hair.

I will first say, I have some weird hair, so things that would typically be great for many, end up being not so great for me. With that said, I only deducted a star because it didnt do well with my hair, but I didnt want to give a 1 star, because, to be fair, like I said, I have weird hair. I will add, I have a little over shoulder length hair; thick/wavy and is colored. The product wasnt very lightweight for me, when I used it, it made my hair feel heavy. I applied it to damp/wet hair and brushed it a little after applying. It seemed to help when I brushed my hair out the next morning, but it still felt a bit weighed down. I did like the smell of it, it was a bit heavy at first, but after applying it to my hair, it evened out well and lingered well the next day. I will say, a little goes a long way with this product. All in all, it seems to be a good product, just doesnt work very well for me.

So, this was my first time trying a hair serum. I've used oils in my beach wave hair but never a serum. The consistency is a bit runny compared to the shampoo, and a little goes a long way. I applied this to my wet/ damp hair and massaged it root to tip. It didn't make my hair sticky or tacky, which I loved and noticed a significant difference in my hair after just one use. It didn't weigh my hair down. It made my hair softer and appeared healthier and wavy-er. The scent is consistent with this line as being fresh and slightly floral, not at all in a bad way and not overpowering. I actually loved the scent. This serum has done wonders for my hair and I definitely plan on purchasing this as a splurge because the price is a bit much but with how long this will last and the results from use I feel it's worth it. I did receive the full size bottles for testing from Influenster. I had burgundy hair before using this line and (it wasn't color safe lol) ash blonde after 3 weeks of use.

I received a free complementary bottle of Hair Alchemy Strengthening Treatment Serum from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I used this product for about 2 weeks before I wanted to leave a review. I honestly LOVE this serum!!! My hair is very very soft and shiny. I completely have no frizz at all. My hair feels so light weigh and smells amazing! I would highly recommend this product if you have dry or frizzy hair. My hair looks and feels so hydrated now. Even when I blow dry my hair, it still comes out perfect. My hair is dry and frizzy and either wavy or straight depending on what my hair feels like doing on that day. The bottle is so pretty. The scent is pretty light and kinda like the fragrance of flowers. My hair does not feel or look greasy at all! And the shine is just so amazing! The serum is a creamy white product and is also a great heat protectant. I also used this product after I used the shampoo and the conditioner. I just put a small amount of it in my damp hair.

This gives me a Brazilian blowout type of finish. You really don’t need much - and it keeps things frizz free between your wash days !!! Holy grail for sure. The price is worth it for the potency and protection it offers - especially if you have bleached hair like myself :-)

Its amazing product for hair. One of the best product i used on my hair , the results are right away seen. Its smells great ,works amazing on conditioning my hair and keeps my hairs smooth,silky healthy.

I like to use oribe. Because its scent and feel are great.And has a very rich foam, now I want to look for the oribe series that can improve hair breakage and dry hair ends

I tried this serum on my virgin Slavic hair right after the shower, used it as a leave-in product, because I barely use hair tools after growing my natural hair - my main goal is to keep them healthy as much as possible. This serum works great for my straight but fluffy hair! It didn’t affect the hair volume (I’m happy about that because some products make them heavy and greasy) but definitely made the look silky and shiny. They look like I styled them but I didn’t! I was very excited to try this hair serum. It smells beautiful (something about it makes me think of Nordstrom in the 90s - if they were going for a nostalgia factor, it worked!) and I love the consistency of it - it's more creamy than I expected. Unfortunately, even using a pea-sized amount on my almost waist-length hair was enough to weigh it down. When using it just on the length of my hair, it dried wavy from the roots to where I began, then as soon as the serum portion began, it turned almost stick straight. It unfortunately felt very dry as well. However, I would still give this a shot because your hair type might really take to it!

I really wanted to love this. I was so excited finding out I was receiving this from influenster in exchange for my honest review. I love Oribe products and they smell great but, unfortunately this one didn’t work for me. My hair is naturally wavy and on the thinner side but not extremely thin. I bleached the crap out of my hair a few years ago and paid the consequences and lost a lot of my hair. So, the last two years I’ve been letting it grow out without putting any dye on it or bleaching it. I still use hot tools so I try to protect it as much as I can. I normally use a few different olaplex products. I use the shampoo conditioner and number three religiously and then when I get out of the shower I put a couple leave in products and heat protectant. After receiving this serum, I switched out a few of my other products and added this. I tried using a dime size amount on damp hair and letting it air dry like I normally would. My hair just feels way heavier and gross. The first time I used it I figured I used too much so I tried using less but it still didn’t feel great. I tried for about two weeks and then gave up hope of it working on my hair. It might be great for someone with more damaged hair or thicker hair but for me, it’s a no unfortunately.

I have very long hair, so a treatment of some sort is a must. I like the way this feels— it absorbs well and leaves my hair feeling smooth and moisturized. I also think the bottle and the box it came in are very attractive. That being said, the smell of this whole product line really bothers me. It has a very strong floral scent with an alcohol undertone that really sticks around. It actually makes me feel slightly ill at times, and it makes it impossible to wear perfume. So, while I feel this product works well, I am not sure if I would purchase it again.

I tried this a few different ways to see if I could see any real differences. To preface, I have very straight, fine, long hair that has been color treated. Applied on dry hair, combed through about a nickel sized amount, concentrating on ends. Left my hair dryer than it had been, it actually started to get staticky as well. Applied on damp hair, quarter sized amount, air dried. No noticeable change. Applied on damp hair and then blow dried, also no noticeable change. The consistency is nice, it has a pleasant scent to it, and the bottle is lovely! I will be trying it again in the spring/summer when things aren’t so dry here.

This smells amazing. Consistency is watery, so I assumed it would absorb rather than coat. For my hair type, after using it daily (multiple ways, first as a damp hair before styling and then as an over night hair mask, the two ways it’s listed to be used on the bottle) my hair is stiff and greasy. I’m about halfway through the bottle. When I used it as a before styling product, it did not leave my hair like this, but I also didn’t notice a difference. When I used it as a night mask, my hair is stiff and greasy even after washing it out in the morning. I don’t know. I wanted it to be good. But it just doesn’t work for my hair type.

This serum is really nice and smells amazing! I got this serum for free for testing purposes. I’ve been applying it to damp hair and find it leaves my hair feeling healthy and soft. I definitely think using this serum along with the shampoo and conditioner helped leave my hair super healthy and soft. With this product a little goes a long way so you definitely get your money’s worth. I like how this serum is light weight and didn’t leave my hair feeling oily. As for the packaging, I absolutely love the yellow color and how it feels super nice and sturdy. There is however one thing I would change about the packaging. It definitely would have been easier to use this serum had it been a spray bottle. Other than that I definitely would recommend trying this serum!

This serum is luxurious from the packaging to the scent and how it makes my hair feel after use. My hair is soft, light weight and it feels like I had it professionally done at a salon. I also do not have product build up nor heaviness after use. I love that it has so many great ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid Complex and Oribe Signature Complex which includes Watermelon, Lychee and Edelweiss Flower. Since adding highlights to my hair a couple months ago, it has been drier than normal. The serum completely changes the texture of my hair after applying it. It is noticeably softer, hydrated and very easy to comb through. It absorbs very quickly without making my hair greasy, oily or heavy. Overall, I am really appreciative to have received this haircare set and would definitely recommend to others!

I have fine 2b/2c hair that overhydrates easily and craves protein. This serum is amazing! It's a nice rich (but not thick) cream that emulsifys well, glides through my hair and soakes up beautifully leaving no residue. This is a multi use product that works as a detangler, leave in conditioner and heat protectant. I have used it for three weeks and my curls feel stronger than before. They are also more defined, bouncy, and happy with each wash - check out the weekly progress pics! I deducted 1 star because it does have a strong scent - I like the scent, just not how intense it is and it does not dissipate quickly.

I’m not really one for hair care. I don’t style it and go to sleep with it wet. That being said my hair is VERY dull 24/7 since I wash my hair every night. I’ve been using this product for a week now after I shower while my hair is still damp. I put just a little dab on my hands and work it through my hair. Not only does it smells absolutely incredible, but when I wake up my hair is shiny and looks like it has life to it. It really does act like a leave in conditioner. I like the fact it is more of a lotion feel rather than oil, because sometimes if I sleep in an oil - I wake up with a disgusting pillow and my hair looks greasy. although this product is $$, I don’t think that would deter me from buying in the future because you need so little of it (and I have A LOT OF HAIR) that this bottle will last forever!

I was using it normally like I use my hair serum everyday I realized this formula is creamy but it’s so light smell is so good didn’t make my scalp oily and after using it I feel my hairs became bouncy i always have complain about my hair tips dryness but after using it my hairs feel lively from head to tips I definitely will buy it again so far this is best hair serum I have used I received this product from influenster in exchange for my honest review

I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. The best way I can describe this product is torn. I’m torn to decide if I like it or not. I have used this product multiple times, it smells amazing and my hair feels soft but then when it’s dried it doesn’t look any different than other serums. Now I understand the biggest dig at this product is price. But to be honest the product is HUGE… it’s 5.9 oz and other products are 1 oz for 30 bucks. This is in all reality expensive because you can’t buy smaller bottles but not when you think of the value. I will continue to use this product as it isn’t bad by any means but it is missing a wow factor for me.

I loved this product! My first time using an Oribe product and im definitely hooked. Left my hair looking soft, shiny and healthy. Super light weight formula. When i used it on hair that i hadnt washed for a few days it worked without leaving my hair feeling or looking oily. Very impressed. Will definitely.be purchasig in the future and recommending to all my friends! The photo was my hair after applying the serum.

This serum is seriously awesome. The bottle is so elegant looking and you can tell is a high quality product. The serum smells sooo good, I am obsessed with the scent! I like that you can use this on damp or dry hair and it won't make your hair look oily or weighed down either way. Hair feels super soft after use and you can tell after several uses that it does strengthen your hair. Love that it helps prevent breakage because my hair breaks easily due to coloring and hot tools. A small amount of product is all you need which helps make this high end product perfect for anyone, even those on a budget.

This brand is one that I have always loved and recommend to everyone that I know. With that being said, this product did not disappoint. The first time that I used this I got some many compliments on my hair. I have wavy/curly hair and used this right after it got out of the shower and scrunched it into my hair. My hair dries beautifully and with minimal frizz! Would totally recommend this product!

So I’m a big fan of good smelling product. I rate this products scent a 10/10. It makes my hair smells like expensive like I just walked out of an expensive hair salon in downtown. I applied the product and then curled my hair, definitely felt the difference. My hair didn’t smelled like burnt hair and no frizz and kept it soft. Now I’m curious to try the whole line of oribe. Recommend, absolutely!

Unlike many of the reviews here, I purchased my bottle from a salon in DC. Being skeptical due to my thick hair, I heeded the advice to use a small amount, as stated in other reviews. Initially, I mixed it with a leave-in conditioner, resulting in a slightly greasy feel. I'm uncertain if it works as a heat protectant, but it has become my preferred choice for pre-blowout application (I do this every 5 days). Interestingly, my hairdresser also holds this product in high regard after seeing the results. We live outside the US & Oribe isn’t a brand many salons use so I have them use my own products.

This new line is my new favorite line of products. Wow. This serum protects my hair from the grueling heat of my hair dryer, smells heavenly and keeps fly-aways at bay. I was a loyal Kérastase user, semi-hesitant to even try Oribe, but I’m so happy I did! It looks beautiful on my counter and works wonders alongside the shampoo and conditioner. I am a believer in Oribe. It’s worth the price.

Absolutely love this product. It has a gel like consistency that easily melts into my hair. It smells similar to the conditioner and the shampoo and isn’t overpowering once it settles at all. This paired with the two leave my hair feeling so silky and soft which I absolutely love since most products tend to dry my hair out. I love that you can use it on dry or wet hair as well with the same effect. I would definitely recommend this product, even though it is on the pricier side but it is so worth it for how well it works and the amount of product that you get as a little goes a very long way!

I liked the fact that the serum is provided in the Voxbox. I feel like I needed the serum because the conditioner is not as large as the shampoo. I found that the serum is a bit sticky on my hand, but it did glide pretty nicely on my hair. The serum helped my hair become less frizzy after it dried (I tend to air dry) and my hair was very smooth the next day.

I love the Oribe Fortifying Treatment! It helps with my frizz, and is a perfect heat protectant. I have been using it on my damp hair after showering, and let it air dry overnight. When I use my styling tools. I use just a dab on my finger and comb thru my hair one more time and I’ve definitely noticed my hair has been much healthier!!!
