I’ve been really into hair products these last couple years since my friend introduced me to some for damaged hair. For I got this product for testing purposes, I was using simple Moroccan oil. When I tried this product for the first time I noticed how my hair is not longer frizzy. That is such a big plus for me, because I’ve been searching for the right product to stop my staticky hair. It also soften my dry hair, which I’ve recently dyed using a box dye. I apply this onto my damp hair since the oil is a bit heavy and then comb it out with no trouble. The smell is absolutely amazing, a slight fruitiness to it. It’s pretty pricey but it works so well. If you have hair like mine then definitely check out this product.

I live in a humid country so I tend to avoid products that make my hair feel greasy. This hair oil gives me a nice feeing that enhances the shine and smooth without making it look oily. It’s super lightweight. I noticed my hair look healthier and shinier after using for almost a month. The split end is also disappeared. The bottle doesn’t have a luxurious look but it is light and I can carry it with me whenever I travel. I also get compliments from my boyfriend how amazing my hair smell. Just a pump after the shower before drying and my hair looks amazing already :)

I received this product from Influenster and was excited to try it. Living in Florida, frizz and flyaways are a daily hassle, particularly in the hot, rainy, summer months. The oil minimized my frizz and flyaways (mostly) and did not weigh my hair down as other oils do. Left my hair smooth and smelling great.
The applicator and lid can be tricky, especially if your hands are slick from the oil’s residue. The product is also pretty pricey comparatively to similar on the market, but if price is not a deciding factor in your buying process I’d definitely recommend!

There’s a reason this @oribe gold lust hair oil won a best of beauty award in 2019. Working in the beauty industry for 20 years, I have tried most every kind of professional hair oil or serum that exists. My hair gets very dry from the constant bleaching and coloring I have to do to maintain a bright pink hue. This product is literally like liquid gold. It moisturizes your hair leaving it shiny and soft, not sticky or oily feeling. It has a very light, clean fragrance which I also love. 10 stars from me. I’ll never be without a bottle of this product. 💛

I've been using this product for 6 months but after 4 weeks I could notice a difference in my split ends and my hair is overall softness and shine. Manageability was also a plus but I believe that would be from the transformative hair mask from the Goldust line that I have been using once a week in place of conditioner as well for the last 6 months highly recommend if you're looking for a quality hair oil I still have 3/4 of the bottle left and like I said every time I shower which is every 3 days for 6 months I've been using it on my mids and ends

Don’t waste your money! Does Nothing For a Blonde

I had heart about this product for a while and decided to try it out when they were having a sale. I had HIGH hopes- I had tried a few other products from the brand that I like and was hoping this was my saving grace. I’m sure this works for other people.
As a blonde (not natural) this does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Do not waste your money! I put this in my damp hair after I shower and let it air dry. It looks the same as if I put no product in at all. At a higher price point and not as good smell, just use Moroccan oil. I’m so disappointed !! It does not tame frizz or restore your ends. Does not condition and doesn’t smell good. Not sure what the point is!

Transformative hair oil...true Holy Grail product

This is one of the best hair oils on the market for damaged, dry, coarse or curly hair. Most hair oils (Moraccanoil, kerastase, and others) contain parabens, silicones and other artificial/synthetic products that will eventually do damage to your hair and health. Oribe's Gold Lust Nourishing Oil is all-natural. The only other hair oil that even comes close is the Christophe Robin Prickly Pear Seed Oil, and that isn't available in pure oil form, as this is. I have been using this on my damaged, highlighted, thick/coarse hair for years...it's really worth every penny...has made my hair more beautiful than it could ever have been otherwise. Thanks, Oribe!

I received the ORIBE Gold Lust Nourishing Oil as a free sample from Influenster but these are my true and honest opinions. I immediately loved how lightweight the hair oil was because it didn't weigh my hair down. It was easy to apply and really didn't take much for my really long thick hair & helped me with my usual low key beach wave hair. I liked that there was no overpowering scent to it and that the bottle had a cap & pump so it would be great to travel with. I'd definitely continue to use & recommend this product 😊

I love Oribe products but had never tried this one. I’ve generally avoided oils for my hair because it’s thin in texture and can get weighed now easily. I used one pump of this and added it just to my ends while my hair was wet. It added a completely weightless shine. Like seriously sunk right into my hair and didn’t leave a film or oily feeling. My hair doesn’t look like it has product in it at all but just looks super smooth and shiny. I am thrilled! This works well on dry hair as well, like before using hot tools.

The past few days my hair has been a mess frizzy, dry, and unmanageable. I have tried several products in order to bring in the shine and silky texture. Thankfully, I got to try Oribe Gold Lust nourishing hair oil brought back to life my hair. Just one pump goes a long way leaving it shinny especially for my color treated hair. It felt lightweight unlike others oils I have used look greasy. I loved the floral smell most of all it helped with my thick wavy hair. I recommend looking into trying Oribe hair products.

mmy hands were incredibly soft and my nails looked freshly manicured so input it on my legs and chest for somensubtle scent and it left a glossy kinda shimmer. what's not to love here. inhave super sensitive skin and i didnt notice any dry bumpy red itchy or flakey spots anywhere
my hair was not: greasy dirty unkempt clumpy or flat stanky skanky or skunky I didnt have to wash it 2 or 3 times to get it out and no acne acne or sticky shiney grindy hands either

First impression was how luxe the packaging is. I used this on second day hair to smooth and add softness and it did just that. This didn’t weigh my hair down or make it look oily. As with most hair oils, a little goes a long way so even though the product is expensive, I feel that one purchase would last a very long time. It has a nice serum consistency (thicker than the Ouai hair oil) and a light scent. I’m excited to continue to use! I feel like this will be a life saver for dry, frizzy winter hair!

My seven standards criteria
1. Packaging: the box was beautiful, the bottle not so much. Every time I pump oil leaks out a little bit from push down pump area.
2. Product Texture: testier is very lightweight oil that feels silky. I liked it.
3. Fragrance Scent/ Smell: mild and floral, I like scented products for my hair so this was nice.
4. Feeling on the skin: feels great in my hair, I also use it on my daughter. Helps de tangle and with frizz. Does not feel heavy on my hair or greasy.
5. Price for size and per ounce
$59 at Sephora currently for 3.4 fl oz. Price is def on the higher side but I did like it so I might rebuy.
6. Results: soft smooth hair. Did not leave a residue feeling.
7. Ingredients - Argon and jasmine oil along w other ingredients.
8. How often? : anytime.

So I love this brand so much! I have been using it here and there for years so when I was sent this Lux oil I was thrilled! The smell is amazing! The consistency is beautiful! It hydrates my hair without leaving it oily! I have very long hair and I always use a oil on my ends and this oil is by far a good one! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the pump is horrible! When I go to pump products I only get a drop or two almost like it’s jammed, other then that this product is beautiful

A different kind of light oil

I was a little hesitant when this arrived just because I am very particular about what kind of oil or serum I put on my hair. This oil is actually my current favorite and I am not saying this just because I received this product for free. The Oribe nourishing hair oil is extremely light and a little goes a long way. I love that this oil doesn’t have a strong smell just a slight scent to it kind of like Gardenia. I know this product is going to last me for a while. Remember a little goes a long way

I was so excited to receive this product because I have heard great things about this brand. Firstly, I loved the packaging and the bottle, even though it’s plastic it looks expensive. Secondly. I fell in love with the smell. It made my hair smell great throughout the day. Thirdly, I loved how it made my hair feel. I have thin, dry color treated hair and this made my hair feel so soft and silky. I felt like it also gave a bit of a shine. I will definitely be repurchasing this in the near future.

I’m very skeptical when it comes to hair oil and products in general because nothing seems to work great for my hair which can get very frizzy in the humid months. I tried a bit of this after curling my hair for a photoshoot and it came out wonderfully! The curls stayed and no flyaways or frizz happened. I’m very pleased so far with this product! Just a little bit goes a long way and isn’t overly oily. The smell is fantastic and subtle! This one bottle should last a very long time.

I love this product. It has an amazing light floral scent that is not overpowering at all. One pump is all I need for my hair to feel soft and smooth all day long. It absorbs really well so my hair is not oily from the product at all. For $70 it’s a great product. I wish the packaging would do it some more justice. It’s black plastic bottle does not elevate the product at all but I guess that goes to show that the money is actually going into the product itself and not the packaging.

So my initial thought out of the package was it’s so cute and lux looking. Because of the bottle I also thought ooo it’s a stray but it’s actually like a foundation pump. When I opened it I definitely didn’t enjoy the smell I knew for sure i didn’t want to apply this to my locs so I applied it to my husband hair as well as my daughter. This oil definitely wasn’t made for the african american hair texture but it did help a little with the frizzy pieces when styling my daughters hair.

I enjoyed this product. I wanted to use it at least a handful of times to give a accurate review. I gave it a four star because it didn’t take my frizz away every time. It did the majority of times I used it. I did love that it made my hair so soft and shiny. I can tell it was hydrating to my hair. It also reminded me of going to the beach because of the smell. It kind of reminded me of suntan lotion. I didn’t care for how dark the bottle is. It was hard to read the directions.

I had used other hair oil before and this was different. It didn't cause my hair to look oily or greasy. I like how fast it absorb and dried my hair after applying and blow drying. This is scent but not overpowering and not bad. It comes in a pump bottle and just pump some on the hand and apply directly to the hair. This is also provides heat protection, so less frizzy hair. My hair feels and looks great. This is more pricy than others I had used but definitely try it out.
