Desertland Restorative Body Crème

I got the shower gel and had to have the lotion. This is the most amazing fragrance. The perfect desert garden smell. I’m in for life.

I was super excited to try the Oribe body wash and body creme. My first thoughts on packaging was that it looked so beautiful, simple yet elegant. I loved the simplicity of it and it looks so beautiful sitting in the bathroom. The scent of it is definitely unisex. The one I received was in the scent Desertland. It’s a woodsy, sweet, musk scent. The aroma really took me to a beautiful western desert. The scent does last all day when you use both combinations of the body wash with the creme together. I will say if you have a more sensitive nose and are prone to headaches this might not be the product for you. Both products a little goes a lonnnng way! Which the size of the products make sense now due to it. The body was lathers up like no other body wash I’ve ever used before. Luscious big bubbles and leaves your skin feeling so soft and velvety. The creme leaves your skin even more silky smooth and leaves a nice beautiful healthy glow. I am sharing this product with my husband who also really likes it. Again this scent is definitely unisex and I will be purchasing this again even for this price point. Might have to go in store to smell the other scents too!

This lotion is HEAVILY scented so while it makes your skin soft for a few days, you’ll be smelling it for a few hours. I made the mistake of testing some my hands and the scent was far too overwhelming. I was worried that it would be to strong to use on my body. The next time I showered, I applied it to my whole body and a light application really helped to make the scent really wearable. As a body crème, it worked and felt great - my skin felt supple, smooth, and hydrated for 2 or so days. I would definitely recommend and purchase.

This is clearly a high-quality product and I was very excited to try it. I love the scent - it’s very strong and I can see it being polarizing because it’s a super musky, earthy, spicy-type scent that some people might describe as masculine. I don’t think it’s masculine, but I do really enjoy it. I wish it was a tiny bit more muted because the level of fragrance doesn’t quite play well with my skin where it’s most sensitive. But it’s great otherwise, absorbs quickly, and feels like an indulgent, high-quality lotion.

This body cream feels so luxe to apply to your skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy. It moisturizes deeply and I have very dry skin. The bottle is aesthetically pleasing and I love that there’s a pump for mess free application. The scent itself is not typically a scent I would gravitate to for it’s very earthy and fresh and it’s still pleasant and reminds me of a spa day.

This has a really nice smell that doesn’t overwhelm. If you want I wear it to bed after a rough day or after an unholy heatwave, you can. I get a really good night’s sleep. If you want to wear it during the day it sinks in and doesn’t compete with your perfume. If the price tag is ok with you, this is a good purchase to treat yourself to.

Left my skin super smooth and hydrated. I also love the look and feel of the bottle. The packaging and bottles are perfect. I love the green color and the bottles are easy to handle. Just an FYI this scent is bit more masculine (Juniper berry, Desert Wildflowers and Texas Cedarwood) so my husband also loves it.

Love the consistency and texture of this lotion! It sinks in so nicely and feels great on the skin. I wasn’t sure about the scent at first but it has really grown on me and mixes well with lots of perfumes. It’s not the type of scent I usually go for but it’s very unique and I have loved using it.

This crème is so nice and luxurious! It’s thick and creamy and isn’t oily at all. It makes me skin feel so silky smooth! I don’t really like the scent of this one but it does last all day. I might get used to it. It’s just not something I would typically pick out. It’s worth a try!

This product comes in very nice packaging and a very pretty color. It has a very nice smell which lasts for couple of hours. Moisturizing the skin is okay i didnt see any different compared to other products. It smells like perfume so for some it might me overpowering.

oh my god i love this product! the smell is amazing and it feels great on my skin. it doesn’t feel oily or just lay on my skin, i can tell it actually goes in and stays. the scent lingers for a good while too. i still smelled it after a 10 hour work day.

I love how moisturizing this body creme was. It melted into the skin beautifully and didn't leave that annoying residue that occurs when the emollients aren't high quality. Overall it smelled among and made my skin feel nice ans supple all day long.

I was intrigued to try this since I have only ever tried hair products from Oribe. The lotion goes on nicely and feels moisturizing, but I don’t love the scent of it. I don’t think this is something I’d repurchase but I will use this bottle.

This smells kind of like a candle, so if you don’t love the very stereotypical “cactus/desert” scent then you won’t like this. I personally love it, though it does make it hard to wear perfume with it. The moisture lasts so long though!

This product is really hydrating. I saw a difference in my skins texture since using this. Leaves my body really smooth and soft. It spread really well. I do not love or hate the scent, it is something that doesn’t bother me.

Again, absolute luxury product but not so subtle. This is definitely an in your face type of scent but then again all of Oribe’s products are that way so I wouldn’t expect anything less from a body product.

I ordered this fragrance based on the sample I received. While I loved the scent, it does not have a strong enough scent nor does the scent stay with you for very long (maybe an hour at most). Disappointed.

I feel like my body skin care is normally on the back burner but this product makes me excited to change that. It has nourished my dry skin and brought it back to life. Definitely will be purchasing again!

I received this for testing purposes to leave my honest review. Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of this scent but the packaging and product was lovely. The crème is thick but doesn’t leave you sticky feeling.

I have the full collection of Desertland products. Also have travel size in each Eau de parfum. Love the hair products as well. I’m a hairstylist and these products are the best I have ever used.

The crème had a great scent that both myself and husband enjoy. It leaves my skin hydrated without a lingering film on the skin. Soaked right up after a shower and fits perfect on my vanity

I love the light and airiness of the body Creme when I apply it. I don’t think it’s very hydrating or restorative. But the lightness is beneficial because I don’t feel greasy after applying

This product did not smell good and the packaging was horrible. I always felt like I was going to break the nozzle when pushing down on it. I will not be continuing to use this product.

i've been using this for a few weeks and it smells heavenly. highly recommend. it's moisturizing for hours and NOT greasy. It also makes my bathroom counter look super classy.

The smell is subtle yet very pleasant. The cream absorbs into the skin extremely well without leaving a greasy feeling and without taking 20 minutes to absorb into the skin.

I love this body cream so much! I put it on after I shower and it feels like I came from the spa. The scent brings calmness. I recommend this to anyone who wants luxury.

This crème left my skin soft and nourished while leaving behind a wonderful scent. Can be overpowering when using a lot but lasts for a long time. Pricey but recommend!

At first the scent seemed pretty strong which it is but on the body it’s not overpowering. It reminds me of a spa and it’s a nice change up than the usual sweet scents

This hand and body cream is great. The fragrance is very strong so if you are sensitive to scents it might not be for you. Very moisturizing and my skin felt amazing.
