Beach waves but don’t know what to do with the frizz

It does make my hair more wavy but I still don’t know how to counteract the frizz I get from scrunching my hair. I am guessing an oil serum before spraying will be my next try. It also smells pretty good.

Does the job, but there's better products out there

The packaging looks dated , I would easily look past it on the shelf. I do like the amount of product that comes out as well as the reach of the spray. The actual feeling is kind of like a sea salt spray but in a dry shampoo form . The bottle says shine and boy did they really add the shine. You have to be careful with how much you spray or else your freshly styled hair will just look wet and greasy . So really, just a couple small sprays is best. It does the texturing job, but there are other products out there that are better without the risk of ruining a style .

I normally stay away from these kinds of texturizing sprays because my hair is fine and thin. But I gave this one a shot and I’m glad that I did. Turns out this is more like a texturizing hairspray than just a texturizing spray. By that I mean allow for some texture, but it also held my hair in place after adding that texture. It was a little bit of trial and error. The first time I used it but now I’m kind of addicted to that Beachy look that I have never been able to pull off in my entire life! This product smells great and I’m really glad I gave it a chance.

I have always liked my hair after going to the beach. This is led me to buy those sea salt spray however none of them really work that well. After trying Oribe Wave and Shine spray, I found something that gets me close to beach hair. This product is great. It gives a nice texture to my hair without being crunchy and add some wave and shine. The wave is in dramatic, but my hair is already naturally wavy. The scent is also very nice, which is good because some sense on hairspray can be off putting. I will definitely be using this product for the near future.

Wish I didn’t love

Wish I didn’t love it so much since it’s $44 a bottle, but I’m about to purchase my second bottle after 6 months of regular use. This wave and shine spray applies easily with a continuous nozzle. In the mornings I flip my (dry) hair upside down and spray this throughout and the results are instant lift and piecey voluminous beach waves/curls. The smell is also amazing like a fresh floral citrus. I have long fine, thick, 3b hair and for me this product does a great job at managing a beachy look without needing to wet/wash hair daily.

I adore how this Wave and Shine Spray adds texture to my hair without leaving it feeling greasy or crunchy. Although I've liked using it on damp hair and letting it air dry, my favorite application is to give already-styled hair more shine and texture. I've included before and after pictures of my morning flyaways as well as the outcomes of using this Wave and Shine spray . This product let my style pop without adding too much weight to my hair. It also smells fantastic, just like all Oribe products do!

I love how this feels it feels so nice on my hair. It’s clean feeling it comes out like a dry shampoo. It blends very easily. I use my hand. You’ll see in the video and it smells really good. My hair smells like I have perfume on it it doesn’t dry your hair out. Your hair is still soft to the touch and feels really good and healthy. Very good product. Very happy. You could use it on wet or dry hair. I used on dry hair, but semi just dried so it was still a little wet just air dried it! Love it!

A great hair spray that will leave your hair with beautiful, glossy beach waves. I have straight hair and it’s hard to achieve beach waves, but with this product, I’m able to get the perfect waves :) I love that this spray is very lightweight and it doesn’t leave a sticky residue. Your hair will look like you just had a perfect beach day and lasts all day. The long lasting power is such a plus since my hair is medium thickness. This hairspray is perfect for these hot summer days!

A solid styling spray

Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray by Oribe is a styling spray with moisturizing and texturing ingredients, that claim to keep your hair protected from heat damage and add shine to your hair. I don't do a lot of blow drying this time of year, I mostly air dry in the summer, but when I do need to blow dry my hair I want to ensure there is that proectant quality in my styling spray.
Lately I have just been wearing my straight hair up, so I used this to keep my hair in place and for that nice shine it claims to have. I noticed that my hair does look better, does it look a lot shinier? Not really, but this helped keep my hair from flinging all over creation, and it smelled pretty good too! Would I keep using this? Yes, it's a good styling spray and I feel it's going to really come in handy in the future for me.

I’ve used this a few times now. I will say it seems to work best on damp hair that has already been scrunched a lot. My hair is a pretty mixed texture. The curlier parts worked well with this spray, the straighter parts didn’t do much. It was interesting that it was in an aerosol spray can. It smelled nice, but it didn’t feel super effective overall. I felt like a lot was wasted to the air around my hair. It is also quite sticky when first applied.

I love Oribe scents. They are one of my fav haircare brands. I was so excited to see this and try it. This did help my natural waves after taking a shower. It also made my hair a little crunchy. This and the Sunshine Light Moisturizer Cream are a great duo. It is quite a small bottle, but even with hair to my butt, I did not need too much. It would last me a while since I only wash my hair once a week. Super happy to have tried these products.

Received from Influenster in exchange for my review. Oribe has been my preferred haircare brand for years and the wave and shine spray is just one of the many reasons why. This can be used on either wet or dry hair I use it on my wet hair to tame my curls and on my dry hair I will use it to tame the frizz and control fly aways. Will hold your hair without making it crunchy. This is fantastic I highly recommend you giving it a try.

This spray has a super fine mist. It does come put pretty quickly with a strong pressure. I found it easier to spray it into my hands prior to applying to my hair. The spray has a wonderful scent and helped to make my hair look shiny. It did give my hair a little bit of a greasy feel and weighed things down a bit. I feel like it works way better on damp hair, brushed it through, and applied a light amount using your hands if needed.

Did nothing for my hair

I was looking forward to trying this product but unfortunately I was not very happy with the results. This did not give me any type of beached inspired waves or shiny hair. It does not leave any residue or stiffness to my hair, but this does apply like a hair spray, not the usually spritz spray that I like in these types of products. This also states it has a light hold, I find that it has no hold at all. Very disappointed!

I love this product. It is the best texture spray I have found yet. It does not make my hair feel sticky or crunchy, I have tried it on wet hair and let it air dry and I've used it on already styled hair to add texture and it works amazing both ways. It smells amazing and I love to use the light moisturizing cream along with it. Using both of these products together gave my hair life and felt amazing.

Encourages waves, doesn’t hold well

This is a good spray that really helps encourage waves to come out and be seen. The only big downside to it is that there is no hold. So if you have waves that can get weighted down by humidity, this spray is not going to be able to withstand that. The sprayer is excellent, the scent is good, and the product itself really does encourage waves. If it had a bit more hold, I think it would be perfect.

Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray works well. This spray goes onto hair smoothly and evenly, combs through, and leaves hair shiny and new! I found that this spray smells like summer, holds hair into place, and volumizes with precision. This spray works! It took my frizzy hair and gave it a new shape and texture! I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking a high level of shine on porous hair!

I honestly don't know how you can go without knowing and loving this product. Originally was recommended by my hairstylist as I love to go 5-7 days between washes and sometimes need an extra pick me up halfway through. Not only does this tussle, toss, and volumize in all the right ways, it also smells AMAZING. Every time I use it I receive a ton of compliments when I go out. Love this stuff!

I received this item free from influenster for my honest review
I live this brand but I don't know of this is a product that I will continue using. I don't use hair spray or similar products regularly because I don't like the feeling of stuff on my hair. This isn't as bad and it did mair my hair look pretty but since I am always touching my locks, I think it would be a once in a while thing

Nice for textured waves!

I’ve used several texturizing and beach wave products and this one is great. I have wavy hair so I’m just looking for something with light hold that will define my hair a little without making it frizzy and sticky/stiff, this spray works for that! The scent is a light floral and very lovely and not overpowering, it doesn’t really linger so won’t interfere with other fragrances. The thing for me is that I need to be careful not to over apply, I have a lot of hair but it’s fine so if I use to much of this it will weigh my hair down and then it goes from pretty beach waves to limp oily hair. I think this product will work best for people with at least some wave/curl to the hair or if you’re going to curl your hair first before use. Something I love about Oribe products is that they are gluten free and as someone with an allergy that is always something I’m looking for so I love that they list that!

This is a pleasant surprise to use! My hair is very damaged and dry from overprocessing/bleaching so usually when I use a product like this my hair will look just gross and more dry but that wasn’t the case! It actually made my naturally wavy hair look very beachy without dryness or frizz. My hair looks shiny and healthy. I can’t smell (Covid) but Oribe products generally smell amazing!

This is supposed to give wave and shine to hair. While I do really like the dispenser and the perfectly distributed product, it didn’t really give me any wave. My hair is very straight naturally and using heat is really the only way to get waves in my hair. I do like that it adds shine and hold for an all day style. The smell is a bit strong so if you’re sensitive be aware of that.

I got the travel size to review. So it smells really nice. It adds some grip to my hair without being crunchy like a lot of beach sprays. However, on its own, it's not as effective as it claims. Instructions make it sound like you just spray this, tousle with fingers, and then you have styled hair, but it will not do this by itself. There is probably a learning curve with this.
